“Been to this beautiful house for the third time. Twice in June and now in March. As always, warmly received by the owner, Frédéric. Made less use of the garden due to the time of year, but enjoyed sitting by the fireplace. The dogs also had a great time in the large enclosed garden and they were also happy to be here again. We took beautiful walks in the area again. Beautiful characteristic house with associated furnishings. We love it. Well equipped kitchen, refrigerator with separate large freezer compartment. Compared to last year, Frédéric has made adjustments again. The bath has been replaced by a beautiful shower cabin and new laminate has been laid upstairs or the floor has been nicely sanded. We will definitely come back again.”

“We were warmly welcomed by the sympathetic host in a beautiful spacious house with authentic features. A fantastic platform with many seats, where you could always enjoy the sun and the surroundings. The house was sometimes not completely clean in the corners and there was some overdue maintenance, but this was no problem for us. The fridge and other kitchen cabinets were perfectly clean and everything you needed there was amply available. You had a beautiful view from every window. The immediate area offers many opportunities for hiking. We had a wonderful week with our golden retriever who could enjoy the garden. “It looks like a small castle, spacious house with a huge garden in a quiet area. Decor a bit dated and a bit dusty, but that didn't spoil the fun. Two donkeys as neighbours. The ourthe within walking distance, but unfortunately only a short distance where you can actually get to the water. The owner is very friendly. We had a wonderful week with the children.”

“Lovely spot with a super large garden where the dogs could roam around. Nice platform in front of the house where we usually sat, overlooking the garden, listening to the birds and enjoying the peace. New kitchen appliances such as microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and fridge-freezer. There is also a fridge without freezer, but as far as I understood, the owner is waiting for a new kitchen where I think all the new equipment will come in. But due to long delivery times/delays, as is currently the case in Belgium, the old kitchen was still there. No problem for us. Also many beautiful old/characteristic furniture/accessories that give the house something special. Also old thrift stuff but no problem for us. Bathroom is very outdated Kitchen is well equipped and everything we needed was available. This house is located about 15 km south of La Roche and the area is more sloping than more to the north. Beautiful walks in the area around the Ourthe. This area is quieter compared to the busy area more further north, you can also enjoy a whole day in the Adventure Valley in Durbuy with all kinds of activities such as climbing forest, 3D labyrinth, mountain biking, kayaking, tubing etc, etc, etc. Fun for young and old. and the climbing forest has many routes in different degrees of difficulty. Closest supermarket is a 4-minute drive in Lavacherie. Are you looking for a nice spot with a large garden and you come for the rest, then you are in the right place. “We were received by a very enthusiastic manager in a super large and characteristic house. The house is located in a beautiful setting, the valley of the Ourthe and the Laval. When it is sunny you can sit on a fantastic terrace looking over the beautiful garden and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The house itself contains several rooms where you can stay if the weather is not so good, especially the conservatory is a must! Since we wanted to barbeque on the terrace, the manager offered a super large and handy BBQ with which we had a great barbecue on Saturday evening and Sunday evening. We ourselves have done several walks in the beautiful surroundings. In short, highly recommended!”
