“Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Ecuries du Parc in Spa. When we arrived we were welcomed by Mrs Hubert who immediately asked if dogs were bothering us. Since my wife is afraid of dogs, Mrs. Hubert immediately put the dogs back inside; we only saw it all week when we were in the apartment ourselves. When we went in it was a bit "coming home" The recognisability, the fantastic decor, ... The weather was a bit less good this time, but that gave us the opportunity to do some other things, a little further from Spa: Malmedy and Stavelot, Theux, the Reinhardstein castle, the promenade de la Hoëgne, ... a real discovery in the rich history and nature of the region. Mrs. Hubert was the perfect hostess: always something in the background, but always willing to answer our questions and provide information. We will definitely come back.”

“Our 2 week stay went comfortably. The welcome was friendly and warm and our questions were immediately answered and resolved. Despite the garden was communal and the dogs and cats walked outside, we were not inconvenienced. The apartment is quietly located and close to the center. This is favorable for excursions and walks. Spa Geronstère station is nearby and with the funicular you can reach the top in no time and you can take long walks down.”

“Upon arrival, we immediately noticed the high-rise buildings next to the garden. This high-rise is not indicated in any photo. Our privacy was therefore hindered. The owner was certainly not as customer-friendly as we are used to. We received the key and had to find our way in the holiday home ourselves. The holiday home is tastefully decorated and beautifully finished. Watch out for the very slippery shower floor. The description states that a barbecue can be used. This turned out not to be present and we experienced that as a disadvantage. The owner said she has reported to Belvilla several times that she does not have a barbecue, but has not been removed from the site to date. The garden seat consists of only 2 chairs and a very heavy table that can only be moved with difficulty. What was missing were adjustable sun chairs and an umbrella. That was necessary with the south location of the garden. The garden looked beautifully cared for, but it was not the intention to use it. That would get in the way of the robotic lawnmower. The terrace is private, but the owner should have access to her garage. We wonder why the owner has to walk right past our house to her garage, while that can also be done via the wide gravel path. Fortunately, dogs were not allowed. The reason for this became clear to us later. The owner herself has 2 dogs and 3 cats that are let out in the garden and walk into the holiday home if you are not careful. Nice that a private parking space was reserved at the holiday home. However, at the exit of the park, the street and parking lot were provided with new bitumen. This was accompanied by a lot of large equipment and odor nuisance. Because of this work we could not enter the park by car for 2 days and we had to park the car somewhere in the village. That meant slaloming between the broken sidewalks and potholes in the road. Not very comfortable. Definitely not for my husband”

“Lovely apartment fully equipped. Located in the heart of Spa near the town hall with various restaurants and shops around the corner. Despite its central location, it is very quiet, part of a private park with a beautiful view of the green hill. The apartment is spacious and part of a larger authentic building. Everything is luxurious and attractively finished with great taste for detail. The kitchen is complete and therefore ideal for preparing your own meals. The bathroom is spacious with a lovely rain shower. The bedroom is dead quiet and can be completely darkened. There is plenty of closet space everywhere. The maintenance is excellent and everything was very clean. Self check in possible via a key safe. For a stay with a baby or small child, as we did, it is really ideal.”

De vloerverwarming is heerlijk. Heel dicht bij het centrum, doch erg rustig gelegen en vanuit het appartement kan je makkelijk wandelingen starten zonder de wagen te moeten nemen. Wij waren er met kerst en de eigenaars hadden extra kerstversiering voorzien wat het nog gezelliger maakte. Wij vinden het een aanrader”
