“Large house but very old, definitely needs major maintenance. Very suitable for large groups. A lot of stuff is old and certainly not of this time. Friendly hostess and the agreements we made with the owner were very well fulfilled.”

“Romantic Ardennes family home with lots of space. Clearly in order for a large group. Furnishing is quite antique. Advantages are the central location in the village, parking space, large garden, large conservatory, large kitchen. Disadvantages: firing is expensive (must be paid separately). No sitting room (but the conservatory replaces it). Old plumbing.”

“The agreements we made with the owner were very well met. Very nice contact. The house is spacious and certainly with several people it is nice that there are several rooms to stay. This space is also large enough for many people. The outdoor space is very pleasant. There are plenty of tables and chairs for outside. From the house we have made beautiful walks.”

“Charming spacious house with character in a quiet village street. Simple comfort but in order. Nice, secluded garden with spacious uitzicht.Alle rooms, even the bathrooms are spacious. Shower and bath are old-fashioned but work properly. Kitchen is also spacious but could be equipped with more countertop. Nice veranda for morning breakfast.”

If you like least of Belgian messy, and are charmed by the somewhat historic kitchen, beautiful dining room (with fireplace) and the African theme of the woonkamer.Er is also a conservatory and garden, but we have seen little, because of the fall .The location is also excellent, fun in the village with a bakery three doors down, but you're also so in the forest / on the river for walking. Minus were reasonable sagging matrassen.Groot plus the fixed costs for heating, cleaning and inclusive is the house itself.”

“This house is well located. It is quiet. There is a park across the street, a bakery down the street and Ourthe is walkable. The house is very spacious. We stayed with 8 adults and 8 small children and certainly had plenty of room. The children could amuse themselves in the garden and in the park. A flaw has to be the cleanness. It may be better polished. Some beds / mattresses / bed frames are also due for renewal. Altogether added good value for money.”

“The house provides a lot of space for children. Bathrooms and bedrooms ok. Kitchen subpar, dishwasher need to repair, kitchen, cabinets tatty, plates, glasses, cutlery very dirty, probably through poor dishwasher. Sound fall of the doors, garden not complete what was essential for us. But we made the best of it. Heating costs were € 45 / night. That seems excessive. House needs a major renovation, then it is an ideal destination.,”

About the holiday home

This spacious holiday home is situated in Comblain-la-Tour. Ideal for a group of families or friends, there are 6 bedrooms and can accommodate 14 guests.

If you are not in the mood to cook, dine out at the nearest restaurant just 1 km away. Stock up your basics from the local grocery store only 3 km away.

A terrace or a fenced garden with garden furniture is accessible if you wish to have an outdoor afternoon tea. Heating is available for your comfortable stay. A barbecue is in place for you to experiment with your culinary skills. A high chair and children's bed are provided for the comfort of the little ones.

Check-in begins from 6-7 PM and checks out is from 9-10 AM (but 8 pm on sundays)

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
