“The house looks more like a ruin than a holiday home. In the front facade, 2 of the 3 doors are fitted with fiberboard instead of glass. There is another scaffolding against the front facade. The side facade is dilapidated and is demarcated by a ribbon. Safety? Photos of 2 different houses are used interchangeably on the Belvilla site: one from la petite ferme and one from la grande ferme. The neighborhood is not set up at all with the presence of young people in the place of residence. After barely a few hours of presence, a neighbor complained about noise; that same evening another neighbor + police... Some rooms are still under renovation, some don't even have a window. The kitchen looks old-fashioned; the electric hobs work very slowly; especially if you have to cook for a large group. The only common area is the refectory, which is very small and very noisy. The garden is very small for such a large group.”

“First of all I would like to say that the owner is a very friendly and helpful gentleman. The house had its good sides and bad sides. Even if I had seen the house before, I probably wouldn't have rented it. The kitchen is well equipped and that's nice. The dining room is good, the garden is very nice and the extras of jacuzzi and sauna and the pool table are very cool. However, the living room was very small and, moreover, it was not connected to the rest of the house. So that room was not used. And some bedrooms were not available, while we had thought that based on the booking and the information provided.”

“Fijn huis, voldoende ruimte, ideaal voor een grote groep met kinderen (geweldige, veilige tuin). Jammer genoeg hadden we de tweede dag geen warm water, maar de eigenaar heeft het probleem relatief snel kunnen oplossen (vrijdagochtend geen warm water/zaterdagvoormiddag gerepareerd). Zeer vriendelijke, toegankelijke eigenaar trouwens! Wij zouden dit huis zeker opnieuw huren.”

“The house is in good condition. The garden is ok for a group size up to 35 people. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of seating in the house (sofas, armchairs...). Unfortunately, the water quickly got cold when we took a shower, but that didn't bother us that much in the summer. It is well suited for a children's/youth camp, but you definitely have to be in the house in the evenings because otherwise you would be too loud. From 10 you can no longer celebrate a party in the house. And the landlord only speaks French. Nevertheless, all in all a house to recommend.”

“House was poorly maintained and not clean. According to info, we were allowed in the house from 16:00. We were there half past four and had to wait outside until 17:45 with 30 people. Jacuzzi was broken, after a serious complaint from us, it was fortunately repaired halfway. The house is old and partly renovated, but much is unfinished. Also good to keep in mind. Houses are next to other houses, after 22:00 the manager would rather not have you sit in the garden to prevent nuisance, I don't think this is appropriate with a group house. Was not known beforehand. Fortunately, a beautiful environment.”

“We stayed with a party of 45. Plenty of space and clean house. Little response from owner via mail but everything got sorted by telephone. Bar area is very nice and the backyard is closed off so children can play safely. Surroundings are good for hiking and cycling. I would recommend this accomodation for large groups.”

“Well received, the accommodation is fine, a bit dated, but it is being worked on, garden is great and the facilities also (pool table, tennis table, table football), clean and further well equipped. the manager is very friendly. Environment is beautiful. The layout of the rooms is different than on the site and sauna and jacuzzi cost 100 euros (otherwise stated on the site 2 times 100 euros) too bad otherwise we would probably have taken it.”

“Very pleasant location for our large group. Many fun things for the kids, closed garden so they need little supervision. The owner is very pleasant in conversation, really only speaks French. He helped loading the groceries and responded quickly to mails. The house is basic but the beds are good and everyone has had a great time !!”

“Simple house but definitely recommended. Rooms, sanitary facilities and dayroom are already renovated and fine. Further improvements are planned which I find very positive. The kitchen is basic but has what you need. Nice playground outside with terrace to be refreshed.Very friendly owner. We had a problem with the hot water supply, but this has been solved immediately. Due to the room layout, it is no longer possible with the website. A large room is now split into two and there are only double beds and bunk beds.”

About the holiday home

Authentic, well-equipped and full of character, this renovated farmhouse in Anthisnes offers 15 bedrooms and can house families travelling together. It can accommodate 53 people. Unwind in the bubble bath (paid) and sauna (paid) or spend some <U+0093>me<U+0094> time in the private terrace while staying here.

if you want to go for adventurous treks, then the forest is just 100 m away. Restaurants and supermarkets are also 1 km away from this farmhouse. The town centre lies 1 km ahead, if you want to enjoy some buzz.

Outside there is a furnished garden, so that you can enjoy sun until late or you can move indoors for some recreational games like table football, billiards etc. There is central heating. Parking and barbecue are other available amenities. Being a pet-friendly property, max. 1 pet is allowed free of charge here. High chair, sand pit and cot are available for the little ones.

Public transport is available 4 km away.
