“We had a nice week in this beautiful house. It is equipped with many facilities, ample kitchen supplies, many games and books and a game console (Wii). So on a day of bad weather it is no problem to stay in this house. House was also really clean. It is close to Germany and Luxembourg. A visit to Vianden Castle in Luxembourg is highly recommended. We enjoyed.”

“The house is mega! Nicely decorated. Everything, but everything is more than enough. It is very clean and tidy. Rooms and bathrooms top notch. The hostess is incredibly attentive and is immediately available for questions. This is a perfect experience in a beautiful region, beautiful walks. A very small quiet village in itself, but for those who want to enjoy. Highly recommended!”

“Rented a holiday home Souvenirs d "Ouren from October 21 to October 28. On October 27 I asked by email if there was also a cot available for a baby, since my daughter could not see it in the photos on it I have not received any response. Upon arrival on Friday, I immediately checked whether a baby bed was available, there was a camp bed, without a mattress, no blanket / duvet and no sheet! Tried to put up the bed for a long time, without success. There was also no user manual. Called Belvilla and she would contact the caretaker / owner. After more than half an hour the caretaker who only spoke French and Portuguese came, by the way very nice, and we do not speak that language. The caretaker has also tried for a long time to set up the bed, but failed. When the owner called, fortunately speaking Dutch, she came up with the solution that a new bed would come the next day with accessories. Fortunately my daughter only came on Saturday, but if she had come Friday.....? A room was also not clean, cotton buds and fluff of dust on the floor, the caretaker mopped it for us. It was 19:15 before we could unpack the suitcase and start cooking. I think the start and end times are late and because of that you miss one day. And especially with children / baby I think you should leave the house quickly, at 9.05 am the caretaker was already on the doorstep for inspection. The beds were good but we found it otherwise a cluttered house! Sincerely, Jannie de Weger.”

“Somewhat unusual layout that we (just for a moment) had to get used to. Kitchen and living room is separated by a small hallway that remained quite cold. Kitchen and living room could be well heated by the central heating. Bedrooms upstairs nice and spacious, nice beds. The attic was a paradise for our children. They barely looked at the Wii (including games) in the living room. The house was very clean and fully equipped. Beds made, towels, coffee filter... All inclusive. A big congratulations to the owners!!”

“Yesterday came back from a wonderful holiday in this house. We were here with our whole family to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. When we entered, we immediately had the wow-feeling. It was a lovely, spacious, cosy, nice and cozy house, fully equipped. There was also a beautiful bunch of flowers, gifts and congratulations card ready. Very nice and special. We greatly enjoyed the beautiful nature, fireplace and each other. The playroom was also a success. The village itself is a very small, nice old place. The children thought it was very quiet at New Years, even boring: no bang to hear all day. Unfortunately, we just had no snow. We look back on a super nice holiday and will definitely keep this house in mind.”

“Souvenirs d'Ouren was a wonderful experience. An old, cozy house, completely renovated with all the comfort and amenities you can imagine. The house is also cleaned to perfection. Moreover, the charm and cosiness of the past has been preserved. the cottage you can go in all directions (Germany and Luxembourg) and even though it is in a village, it is very quiet.”

“The house itself is completely ok in design, pleasantly furnished and complete with equipment, although it is dark inside, partly because of the small windows. The location is less interesting, it is located along the only road that goes through the village and there is still quite a lot of traffic through which the peace and quiet disappears and you also have no view around and the small garden gives directly to the street so no privacy. flexibility in the hours of arrival and departure, if you have to leave the residence at 9 am on your last day of your holiday, I think this is much too early.”

About the holiday home

This spacious villa is located in Burg-Reuland. There are 4 bedrooms, sleeping 8 people. The accommodation is perfect for a holiday with friends or family. The house has an infrared sauna so you can completely relax.

The holiday home is beautifully situated and it is the ideal base for exploring the area. With Germany on one side and Luxembourg on the other, you have the opportunity to cross the border for a trip to one of these two countries. The Südeifel nature reserve and High Fens are perfect for miles of walking and cycling and a visit to Reuland castle is also well worth the effort. The nearest restaurants are only 500 m away.

The interior of the villa is cosy, partly thanks to the wood-burning stove that provides a pleasant atmosphere in winter. In 2017, two completely new bathrooms were built and all beds were replaced. In the attic there is a table football and pool table so you don't have to get bored. In the garden with terrace you can barbecue in the summer.
