About the holiday home

This comfortable holiday home located in Waimes of Liège region has 6 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 14 people. Ideal for groups, it has a private swimming pool and a sauna for you to relax and rejuvenate while enjoying the holidays.

Try out the local delicacies in the restaurant just a few steps away. You can collect all your groceries from the supermarket, just 1 km away. Located only 2 km from the forest, the home offers a chance to take a long walk through the woods.

The furnished garden offers a lovely time with your loved ones while enjoy a sizzling platter of barbecue with your dear ones. Air conditioning and heating are provided to keep you comfortable inside. Parking is available on the premises. You can bring 1 pet to the home for an additional charge. A table football is in place for recreational purposes.

You can check-in time is from 4-6 PM whereas check-out is from 9-10 AM.

It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

“The house and the rooms were okay. Reception was friendly but fleeting. The gate to the garden was missing so the dog could not walk around outside. The kitchen was just so and so, both fridges lost water for example. The pans were very dirty, you could no longer see the original bottom. We managed to fix that with great difficulty.”

“There were 9 of us in Weismes. The house was very spacious, with a large dining area and living area with 3 sofas and armchairs. Each bedroom had a bathroom. There was a large terrace with a large table and chairs. The location of the house is good, there is a good restaurant directly opposite. It is also not far from the town center. There are also parking spaces. The pool with sunbathing area and greenery has just been newly and beautifully laid out. The basement smelled a bit musty. There was a grill, as described. But you couldn't use it because it was totally dirty! The large refrigerator in the kitchen was also very unkempt and dirty and rusty. The dishwasher was also very rusty and unclean. There were enough dishes and glasses, but the dishes were very mismatched. The house is very suitable for a large group. A toilet would be good in the large bathroom on the ground floor, there is still plenty of space for that. It would be important to clean the appliances more!”

“we were really looking forward to staying in the house, the photos already looked promising. On arrival, the 14-person group unfortunately had the same experience: How could we be so misled by the photos? The house was not cozy at all, the kitchen was part of an industrial kitchen. Plates, bowls and bags were in a different room, so easy cooking was not possible. The kitchen was also small. There was an industrial dishwasher where the dirty water remained. And above all, upon arrival, the cupboards were still dirty with crumbs and peanuts, etc. We were also able to observe this in the rooms: a lot of dust in the corners or on lamps, and certainly under the bed. So there was very superficial cleaning, despite the considerable sum for cleaning. There were only seats for 10 people and place at the table. The 4 children had to eat at the coffee table ... The bedrooms did have good beds / mattresses, and almost all have their own bathroom and toilet. But the bathrooms were either outdated or poorly finished, so that in 1 room the shower did not drain properly and so the water ran into the room. Not to mention the claustrophobic room in the basement, where there was another bedroom, that smelled of mold. The sauna was in a very uninviting space, with the same smell of mold. Also the play area was quite dirty and without fresh air. All the cupboards in the house were empty, not even a deck of cards, let alone toilet paper. And the pool was overflowing with chlorine, so that the children had a rash on their bodies after 2 days of swimming... For this expensive rental price, we had expected a little more. I think it's outrageous that this house dares to charge this rent.”

“it was a beautiful house, clean and spacious. lovely that there were 3 bedrooms with a private bathroom in it. what I found less was that the dishwasher was from catering, use unfriendly so everything washed manually. there was also no washing machine, inconvenient if you have many children, then you have to bring a lot of clothes. there was also a weird smell in the basement, where there was a playroom, a bedroom and a sauna. no one was able to sleep in that bedroom because of the bad smell.”

“The bedrooms and bathroom: beautiful! However, the floors are not really clean. Walking around the house barefoot is not possible. After a few steps you are guaranteed to have black soles. The pool lacks a ladder, making it almost impossible for many seniors and small children to get out of the bath on their own. Kitchen is quite okay. However, the industrial dishwasher is not so easy to use. The location of the house is not ideal for people who like to sleep a little longer because it is located near a fairly busy road, where heavy traffic passes early in the morning, with all the noise that entails. The region is of course a wonderful recommendation!”

“A pleasant holiday home - a nice place for a family vacation with four generations! We were welcomed very friendly and everything was shown and explained exactly on arrival! Crockery, cutlery, glasses, household items, space in the house and in the pool and garden were available to a gratifying extent! The Ardennes and the High Fens are very scenic - on foot, by bike and by car. We had a very good time in "En Chanteraine", Waimes and the surrounding area!”

“The environment was beautiful, close to warehouses, bakery different aspects could be better: * lighting provided outside if you want to go from the basement to swimming pool, at least 1 fly window maybe on the sliding window, in the basement not everything was cleared away, we still found food scraps, nothing of WiFi or surround devices worked when they are available Make them work otherwise they just do away ..., yet provided with toilet paper please cost so much in every room that it is not 1 roll, there were chairs on it the swimming pool in the photo but it appears that you still have to pay for it, so we ask to be clearer with your info, also the swimming pool can be heated but also for payment? And swimming pool is also possible, cleaner, BBQ was not immediately usable had to be scrubbed properly first and material is no longer usable. Is there no eclipse on top of the bathroom and toilet on the left? , hourglass does not work in sauna, even before we used something in the cupboard, we first cleaned it”
