There is a lake located 5 km away and you can enjoy downhill skiing and cross-country in Ovifat at a distance of 5 km as well. Visit the Reinhardstein castle, the Fagnes nature reserve and the Robertville Lake located nearby. The town of Malmedy, Saint Vith and Sourbrodt can be reached with a bike ride. Take a day trip to Germany and Luxembourg to explore around.

“Excellent location with pellet stove and bicycle shed. Easily reach Monschau, Malmedy or Recht by bike via the Ravel railway cycle path. Well equipped kitchen with oven and microwave. You can use it to prepare the beautiful dishes from the local catering/butcher that are in the supermarket. Outdoor playground for the children (no fence to the street) Beds excellent box springs. Shower on boiler. Energy on subsequent calculation.”

“We have been in this fantastic house for three weeks. Very comfortable and luxurious fully furnished house. Friendly owners where we also got tomatoes and mushrooms from our own garden. The area is beautiful for cycling and walking. Friends and family have also stopped by and they had their own bathroom upstairs. Also a great base for cycling to the Formula 1 races. So we did too. In short, a great house!”

“The reception was quite okay. Only the text message the day before from the landlord to certainly bring the deposit in cash bothered me somewhat. The accommodation itself was not too bad. But a very big problem: there are two double beds, but on one of these there were duvets for a cot (cot), not big enough to sleep under as an adult. When we went to ask for a "normal" duvet, this was not possible. Result: we practically did not sleep at night. And now it was not too bad that it was so hot, but as soon as it gets a bit colder at night, this is not recommended and something to take into account when booking this accommodation. The final bill was also not entirely correct: too much tourist tax was charged for one of us and the garbage bags delivered were charged, not the actually used ones! Not worth repeating for us!”
