“If you really want to have a holiday, look even further for another house. This house is horrible. There was no cleaning on arrival; the previous guests' breakfast was still under the table. The grass hadn't been cut for ages, so we couldn't go into the garden. It smelled terrible because the sewer was not working. When someone took a shower or bath, the toilet floor was flooded. In one bedroom there was a hole in the wall through which a terrible sewage smell came. In short, look a little further for a nice holiday home.”

“The only plus points are the beautiful surroundings and the large space upstairs with the large dining table and open kitchen. A very nice space to sit with a large group in the evening. It is an old house and that was noticeable. The door handle fell out of the door, the handle of the tap in the kitchen was broken, there were thick cobwebs in it the toilet. Every time we wanted to use the microwave, the plugs would blow. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes. The bathroom doorposts were loose, so you could not open and close the door properly. There was still waste from previous visitors on the balcony, and we had to take our garbage with us (3 days with 6 adults and 2 babies, so that was quite a bit). There was no basic supply (cleaning supplies, garbage bags, towels, bed linen), not even toilet paper for when we arrived, luckily we had brought our own!”

“House is basic but clean. House is described as suitable for 8 people, but the facilities do not allow this. (Inside a dining table for 6 people, a very small and very dirty bbq, fridge and freezer only cooled by the day after arrival and also much too small for 8 people. 1 neighbor even calls the police on Friday during the day for "noise nuisance". This is very regrettable and gives a negative atmosphere to a weekend away with other couples / friends.From 20 o'clock no more noise made and yet the next morning at 06:30 the car came to honk the horn in front of the house until we came outside.(Neighbor works with the night shift and want absolute silence during the day).”

“The house was not clean at all and there was also enough damage. In the bedroom was the metal plate of the door so that it could not close. The bedside table was broken, the shower rod was loose in the wall and when you wanted to move it you had it in your hands. There was also water damage to the ceiling, so we also had mold over our heads while showering and there were several holes in the wall. In the bedroom with the bunk beds, the wood of 1 bed has been cracked from underneath. Half of the lights weren't working anyway. Once I arrived in the kitchen, I was allowed to put all the cutlery, plates, glasses and bags that we would use in the dishwasher. There were dead insects in the drawer, carrots still present between the grater and food still caked on the plates and in the bags. I would not write this review if we could have proper contact with the owner. 3 weeks after my original email still no response. Sent a text a week later and we were going to get an answer soon (didn't happen). Then I called and went to know something before the weekend. (didn't happen) The only thing we liked about the cottage was the company and the location. Not worth 485 euros.”

“the house is well located for activities such as walks, bike rides, It is located right in front of the Ovifat alpine ski parking lot. The house is pretty and practical but it and its equipment are quite old and not sufficiently maintained ( mattress, dishwasher, garden, picture frames, bathroom ....). There was no presence of anyone at the entrance and at the exit. The owner is kind and responded to our requests for intervention even if with a delay.”

“Environment beautiful, accommodation deplorable, no Belvilla worthy. We have previously booked through Belvilla and found it very below par. On arrival we had to go hunting spinning immediately. About 15 copies with the broom worked out (vacuum cleaner was not present) Furthermore, we did not dare to touch the window shutters on the outside, they almost fell off, the door handle of the front door you had in hand, when you opened it. Homeowneress speaks only French, so poor communication.”

“Downstairs was the sleeping area. This was dated, which in itself is not a problem. The garage is indoor. In the garage was a large oil drum for the electricity. It smelled really bad and penetrated into the bedroom if you left the door open. The window in the garage were open but the hatch was closed so that the air remained inside. A few days later I thought that maybe it would care if I threw open the shutters. This was significant. Too bad this was not done even just before arrival. That is far more welcoming over.Ook we could find nothing about the wifi code. Eventually walked to the neighbor who had also left inside us. He did not know exactly but came up with the idea to look at the router. It turned out to be the top Idd code (no password) .Also bathroom is very dated. Showering was fine. But if you had been in the bath water came up in the toilet and the garage.De garden is lovely but needed a onderhoudsbeurtje. We had great weather and have nice ge-BBQt.Het living area is beautifully renovated. Here we could stay fine. if it was a bit colder, you could also get warm quickly. Kitchen is well uitgerust.Wat I missed in the cottage was a pair of scissors and a vacuum cleaner. I succeed”

“Within five minutes drive there are two adventure clubs. There you go karting / steppes of the mountain, shoot program with bow and arrow, air rifle and crossbow. You can also sail kayak. Within half an hour you are in Monschau, and there is a super fun bobsled track. There is also a nice pool near Malmedy.”

“We are very kindly received, the house was fine (spacious, clean, equipped with practical stuff (bath / shower / waskranen, washing machine, coffee maker, microwave, dishes, extra blankets, etc ..). A very large safe garden demarcated (useful with small children), very quiet area, many hiking opportunities (* but not directly center-located) .. Ideal to recharge the batteries!”

“We had a very good stay. It's a great house with spacious garden in a beautiful omgeving.Toch for a family with children was annoying us, that there is in the house no washer / dryer and not frozen. Also, the refrigerator is not working properly, and there is only one toilet is present.”

“We rented the house for the third time. A house with a fantastic view and uivalsbasis for scenic walks. Beds and seats do less well. Shame there is no wood for the fire, and if you like to enjoy a glass of wine, then bring it out for themselves the necessary glasses.”
