About the holiday home

This award winning 2-bedroom holiday home in Sougné-Remouchamps is perfect for 5 guests and a family with children can stay here comfortably. It comes with a terrace and barbecue to enoy the beautiful view of the valley and countryside.

You can explore the nearby forest (1 km) or go for a walk along the Chefna and the Ninglinspo learning the history and culture of the place. All your daily essentials can be bought from the supermarket at 7 km. yu can also find good restaurants in 7 km.

The house is comfortably furnished with a stove and TV in the living room to spend some time cosily. The terrace is ideal to gather around a barbecue (available from April to September) and you can enjoy the nature relaxing in the garden. There is a Dolce Gusto and percolator for preparing delicious coffee. There is an electric kettle as well.

Public transport at 1 km gives excellent connectivity.

“To be honest, we think it's crazy that there are so many good reviews. Based on these reviews, we thought we had a good holiday home for a week for this fairly high price (1160 for a week), but we were disappointed. There is mold in every corner. Everything is tatty or worn out. Dust nests and cobwebs, you think you'll just grab the vacuum cleaner yourself, which barely works either. The towels smell musty (mold?), so you have to dry yourself with them. The toilets barely flush, upstairs it takes hours for the cistern to be full, not really convenient if you have to coordinate your toilet visits. Shower is moldy and leaking, it stinks. It's nice that there are so many herbs in the kitchen, but they are rock hard and/or expired. Fortunately, the area is beautiful and we had good weather and made beautiful trips. But this house is no longer for us.”

“Nice and clean house. Very nice such a pellet stove and necessary on chilly evenings. If you are concerned about the railway and highway? No need to do anything! Sure you can hear something, but you hear the vigels better. The nights are dead quiet. In this house you really have the most beautiful view of Quarreux .. Enjoy! Vam the way home all week had no problems. That single resident, more walkers who briefly cast a curious but friendly look into your garden and then say 'jealous' ' wow ' what a view.”

“We had a nice weekend! On arrival the pellet stove was burning, the beds were neatly made and there was a nice aperitif in the fridge! The house is very well maintained and well cleaned. It was a contactless transfer, hence we didn't see Mrs. But she was available if something was wrong. It is very quietly located and has a beautiful view of the valley of the Amblève. At night you only hear the soothing murmur of the water. We walked the well-known walk of the Ninglinspo. The departure is 5 minutes by car. We also did a beautiful walk that passes the house. In short, a nice stay!”

Shops within driving distance (very handy).”
