The small town of St. Meloir des Ondes is an ideal starting point for your holidays in northern Brittany, being just a few minutes' drive from the region's tourist strongholds. The corsair town of St. Malo with its fortress built into the sea and the oyster port of Cancale with its numerous typical harbor bars and good restaurants can be reached in a few minutes by car or even by bike. A beautiful, 15 km long walking route starts directly at your holiday home and leads past mills and green landscapes. Another insider tip: nearby is one of the most renowned strawberry growers in the region, where you can also harvest yourself!



Activities nearby: The area offers green nature, steep cliffs and a deep blue sea. A region that is not only attractive in summer, because in addition to swimming and water sports, there are beautiful golf courses, various wellness offers and a lot of culture. The former pirate's nest St. Malo! Located right on the so-called Emerald Coast, it was once ruled by pirates, privateers and merchants. You can still feel this romantic atmosphere today - the legendary silhouette of the fortress with its city walls and narrow streets was faithfully rebuilt after the Second World War. In addition, there is the beautiful natural spectacle of the tidal differences in the Bay of St. Malo, which can reach up to 12 meters here

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
