“The owner was very unfriendly! The neighbor also started complaining at 10 p.m. on Saturday night that it was too noisy. We just sat outside after nice sunny day. The return of the deposit was also very difficult, a lot of app traffic between landlord and tenant.”

“The first impression of the holiday home is beautiful and large, friendly owners and everything looks neat. When you look further and stay longer, there are still some things that urgently need to be replaced. The jacuzzi is dirty and worn. The display is not readable, so you can not put it warmer or change it, the jets are loose and there are all kinds of sharp sides to the seats. The single beds need to be replaced, when you lie in them you roll over to the side where you slept the most because they have sagged a bit. The oven did not work and the fire also heats up very slowly. After we informed the owners of this, they immediately came to install a new oven, but we couldn't use it either as the electricity went out every 10 minutes. After we also informed the owners of this, they said that this is a known problem and that we had to turn off the heating of the pool. Too bad, because afterwards the electricity still went out. We had to turn the main switch back on at least 10 times. Fortunately we were with a nice group of friends and we were able to create the atmosphere ourselves. Although we found the stay on the expensive side for the many flaws.”

“Fantastic holiday home. Although it is close to other houses, privacy is guaranteed due to the high hedges. There is no toilet on the 1st floor, but is on the ground floor near the stairs. The stairs do not creak so no nuisance to others if you go in the evening. The antique market in Tongeren, on Sunday morning, was very pleasant. The castle of Ordingen is very beautiful. Château de Fallais beautiful to take a picture of. The syrup factory there is a museum in Borgloon (adult admission is € 7.) We have not been inside.”

“We had a lovely weekend in this holiday home and were warmly welcomed by the owner. Here and there could slowly be renovated, e.g. the seal on the shower cubicle, or the control panel on the whirlpool. The parasols and the grill are no longer brand new and have already been patched. But all in all a great holiday home. We'll definitely be back.”

“In terms of location, house was okay; the heat pump was broken from the pool, so the water was too cold for the first 4 days to use, after that we could use the heated pool for 3 days. There was (due to rainfall water in the basement; overflow fuel tank full of water) a terrible fuel oil smell in the house that gave you a headache and nausea, by opening all the windows you could live in the room, given the temperature outside was 17-20 degrees the evenings very cool inside. House electricity suddenly suddenly went out, apparently already a long-term problem. Lots of home automation that didn't work. Cottage has plenty of space, but the decor in the kitchen was a mess, lots of pans, but everywhere the baking layer was damaged. Refrigerator does not look fresh and closes badly. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 family room with 2 x 1 bed and 1 x 2 person bed, 1 bedroom with 2 x 1 bed and 1 bedroom with 2 bed on the ground floor. The beds are not recommended for less mobile people, they are barely at a height of 40 cm, so getting in and out of bed is difficult. The garden hedge at the pool was not trimmed, so you could not keep an eye on the children from a distance. Jacuzzi was "really" used and contained too much chlorine. Parasols outside need to be replaced! I believe that the green waste container has not been cleaned in years. Conclusion; cottage could have everything for 5 stars, if one took the trouble to maintain everything well, now barely worth 3 stars.”

“House was exactly as stated on the site. Lots of living space inside and out. Garden, swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were great.1 minus: the beds - slatted base and mattresses - were not really pleasant. For a good night's sleep and an even more pleasant stay, these must be replaced and/or repaired.”

“The house is top notch. People friendly. Just a pity that previous guests had broken down the jacuzzi so we did not enjoy it. Fortunately the weather was good and we could enjoy the nice warm pool every day. Furthermore, the house is fully equipped. The area is beautiful with long fields of fruit and grain in a rolling landscape where you can enjoy walking and cycling and plenty of places in the vicinity.”

“We have stayed in this house with six adults and a 1.5 year old child for a week. We have been warmly received by the parents of one of the owners. Beautiful house but the garden could be better, there is a lot of weeds in it. Swimming pool etc, great and with the temperature of 30 degrees every day we also enjoyed it to the fullest. Beautiful surroundings too! Overall had a super stay!”

About the holiday home

This 4-bedroom villa can host up to 8 guests and is located in the Heers, Limburg. Surrounded by a fenced garden, this also has a sauna and a bubble bath along with a swimming pool and free WiFi facility.

The place allows for walking and cycling through the orchards. People can experience the culture in the historic Tongeren, Borgloon or the beautiful St.Truiden. Saint-Trond Tongeren offers a shopping facility. Genk and Liege are also close by. General supplies and restaurants are all within 1 km.

The villa amongst the various facilities also has a parking space, barbecue and computer games. It has a trampoline, sandpit and play equipment and is child-friendly. The house also has a bubble bath for you to relax. As long as the night temperature does not dip below 12 degrees, the pool is heated to a pleasant temperature.
