This beautiful detached wooden chalet with a garden for a maximum of 6 people is located in the town of Finkenstein on Lake Faaker See in Carinthia, quietly located in a district with a few other chalets and with direct access to a small beach on Lake Faaker See.

The chalet is new and very nicely furnished, it offers a total of 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom with washing machine, a spacious living room with dining table, an open fully equipped kitchen, a carport and a beautiful garden with a pond.

The chalet is about 4 km from Lake Faak (with free access to a small beach with sanitary facilities and a beach buffet), and a good 1 km from Lake Aichwald. Lake Ossiach is also not far away.

Finkenstein am Faaker See is located in the Villach-Land district, right in the border triangle of Austria, Italy and Slovenia, not far from Villach. By car you can reach the very popular town of Velden am Wörthersee in about 1 hour. In winter, the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area with almost 70 kilometers of pistes is available, and the Dreiländereck Arnoldstein ski area with 17 kilometers of pistes is a possible alternative. Klagenfurt Airport can be reached in approx. 44 km.

This is a top holiday area in Austria with endless possibilities for a wonderful sun or winter sports holiday.

Directly in Finkenstein there are plenty of shopping opportunities for your daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
