Thanks to its altitude alone, Königsleiten is the perfect starting point for many mountain and hut tours. Arrived at one of the many peaks, the view falls on the majestic mountains of the Hohe Tauern. Friends of the cool water cavort in the nearby Durlassbodensee, a bathing lake with spring-fresh water.

Activities nearby : Visit the highest waterfalls in Europe, the Krimml Waterfalls. You can reach this unique natural monument in about 15 minutes by car via the new Gerlospass road (toll). But your holiday home is also the perfect starting point for other activities. A Nordic walking route is only 50 m away from the house and the next hiking trail can also be reached in 50 m. A beautiful cycle path leads through the Wildgerlostal, about 3 km away. Bicycle and hiking maps are available on site and you also have the opportunity to take part in guided hikes (sometimes for a fee)

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
