About the holiday home

This modern apartment for a maximum of 4 people is located on the 2nd floor of an apartment complex right on the edge of the beautiful town of Maria Alm am Steinernen Meer in Salzburgerland.

The apartment has a spacious living room with dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and 2 spacious bedrooms. From the sunny balcony you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountain landscape. The entire apartment complex is located directly opposite the Hinterreit family ski area with beautifully groomed slopes (approx. 3 kilometers of slopes) and 2 drag lifts.

With the free ski bus you can reach the large Hochkönig ski area in just a few minutes, which extends over the towns of Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach. This ski area offers 120 kilometers of slopes, 3 fun parks and 34 cable cars and lifts. In summer, the Sommerstein adventure pool at the eastern end of Maria Alm, the Obsmarkt adventure pool in Saalfelden or the Zeller lido in Zell am See offer lots of bathing fun!

The idyllic town of Maria Alm is a sports paradise and place of pilgrimage in the middle of the Salzburg mountains and offers many other leisure and activity options such as the Prinzenberg Natrun with the Prinzensee and forest rope course.

From the holiday apartment you can reach the center of the village of Maria Alm, a charming and picturesque village, within 15 minutes. Here you will find several restaurants and shops, an indoor pool, outdoor pool and the tourist office. The state capital of Salzburg can be reached in about 1.5 hours by car.

“Mold!! When we arrived we discovered Schimnel in the bedrooms. We called the hotline and were on hold for 20 minutes with no help. Received a sos e-mail address via chat, wrote there, no reaction. Have contacted the manager, who already knew about the mold from the cleaning company, apparently did not inform anyone. The cleaning company came on Sunday and treated it with chlorine. No help came from Bellville, asked on Monday if everything was fine again and asked for an evaluation in the same breath. The bathroom was great, the rest of the apartment acceptable, showing its age, but the bed sheets were dirty, there were several spots of dust and the mattresses had large stains and one mattress was glued?! No nice stay possible.”

“Bathroom is brand new as on photos. Beds are very comfortable (not too soft and not too hard). There is great panorama on ski slopes and on the left side of the balcony you can find the view of rocky mountains. All equipments in apartment worked well. There is also lift inside the building. Apartment is situated 500m from center of Maria Alm. The only disadventage is pillar with electric cables 50m away from balcony but does not ruin the view.”

“Unfortunately we had to climb 3 long stairs before we got to the apartment. There was, however, a lift. On the balcony you could hear the adjacent road very well. The view is obstructed by electric wires. There is a great shower in it, a really nice bathroom. The room is spacious. Unfortunately it was not completely clean. Price quality was good.”

Because the key had to be picked up somewhere else and so the spot was no one here had put the heater a little higher, we ended up in a freezing cold apartment. Since the heating in the apartment for half 6 to 6 hours goes we sat in sleeping bags on the couch, not really nice when you're finally at the destination after a long journey. (This summer will be different, of course)”
