This high-quality chalet for a maximum of 8 people is located above the town of Grosskirchheim in the Hohe Tauern National Park in Carinthia, along a mountain road that leads to an alpine inn at 2000 m above sea level with a view of the Großglockner. It offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountain landscape and is in close proximity to the famous Grossglockner Heiligenblutt ski area.

The chalet is rustically but modernly furnished and is spread over 2 floors, on the ground floor/basement there are 2 large bedrooms, both with 1 extra stackable bed, 2 bathrooms, a toilet, a sauna (equipped with bathrobes, sauna towels and sauna oils) as well as a large outdoor terrace with a fantastic view. On the first floor there is the large living room with a seating area, a modern fully equipped kitchen, dining table and another toilet with a washbasin. The chalet also offers a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, an outdoor hot tub, 2 parking spaces in the carport with an electric charging station, sun loungers, a barbecue and a table tennis table.

Grosskirchheim is located at over 1000 meters above sea level in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The untouched landscapes offer wonderful hiking and cycling trails as well as varied excursion destinations. The Hohe Tauern region with the village of Heiligenblut offers many opportunities for winter sports enthusiasts. The Grossglockner Heiligenblut ski area offers 47 kilometers of slopes and 10 lifts and is located in the immediate vicinity of the chalet. In about 45 minutes by car you can also reach the popular Mölltal Glacier ski area with over 42 kilometers of slopes.

In summer, the Grosskirchheim natural pool offers a lot of bathing fun with a bathing area of 1200 m2! City and culture lovers can visit beautiful Lienz (30 minutes by car).

There are plenty of shops for your daily needs directly in town or in nearby towns, as well as a good selection of restaurants.

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
