About the holiday home

Charming cottage with fantastic location and glorious sea views over the Hafstensfjord! Bathrobe distance to salty baths, where you can start the day with a dip from the beach or jetty. Better start to the day is hard to get, then enjoy the fantastic view on the terrace over a good breakfast and freshly brewed coffee. Here the whole family will enjoy themselves.

The cottage is located on a sloping garden plot with both lawn for play and games and hilly garden with fruit and berry bushes. The house consists of modern kitchen with dining area where you have a nice view of the sea. Living room with access to the terrace and wood burning stove for chilly evenings. TV corner with sofa bed for two. Bedroom with a solid double bed that can be raised and lowered for extra comfort. Fully tiled bathroom with washing machine. The roof in the cottage varies slightly in height and is around 1.80 in a few places.

In the guest house there are two more beds in the form of single beds, perfect for young people or a couple who want to be raw about themselves.

Only 250 m to salty baths with nice beach, jetty and smooth cliffs. There are plenty of nice rocks and bays where you can be relatively undisturbed. If you want more life and movement, nice Unda camping is only 2 km away with both grocery store, restaurant water slide, mini golf. There is also a nature reserve with 4H farm. The archipelago boats stop at Unda in summer and take the opportunity to make a wonderful day trip to one of the nice places the boat visits eg Lysekil or Käringön.

Nearby is also Herrestadsfjället - with its wonderful hiking trails, mushrooms and berries and all lakes for swimming and fishing. The golf course Bången is located about 5 km just north. You will find the best and most shopping closest to one of Sweden's largest shopping centers, Torp, which has a variety of shops and restaurants. In to the very center of Uddevalla you have about 1 mile.

Welcome to a charming cottage with glorious sea views on the West Coast!

About the area

About Uddevalla

West coast Bohuslän Warm cliffs, red boat houses, perfect fishing places, water sports and exciting tourist attractions are just some out of many experiences that Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast can offer you. There are a lot of activities for families with children. For instance you can visit an amusement park or a zoological park, exciting fortresses or museums where you can explore and experience.

Bohuslän has its own beautiful archipelago. Go visiting the Koster islands in the northern part of Bohuslän where you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your rented bicycle. You can also travel by boat to Bohuslän from Strømstad, a nice town, especially during the summer.

Sotenäs municipality consists of both large and small communities. Smögenbryggan is the most famous tourist attraction in the area. People from near and far come in order to see the lively boat traffic, shop in the stores and enjoy a nice meal in the cosy restaurants nearby.

Lysekil is situated in the outermost part of the boat harbour, and even if you stay in the centre of the town, the water and the boats are always quite near. A walk in Gamlestan is also worth experiencing.

The Skaftø peninsula is now known as the “salt island”, Saltøen, thanks to the Swedish television series of the same name. Picturesque places like e.g. Fiskebäckskil, Grundsund and Rågårdsvik are all well-attended in the summer.

At Törn and Orust there are nice bays and a beautiful nature. There are a lot of boats, and from Tjörn into the archipelago you can go on different boat trips. The short distance to Göteborg makes a day trip to Liseberg perfect.
