Charming and child-friendly cottage with beautiful sea views and quiet location in Höviksnäs on eastern Tjörn.
Here you live in a quiet and child-friendly area with walking distance to a nice child-friendly swimming area and a stone's throw to the playground. The cottage is located on a natural plot with protective mountains and a spacious terrace where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view of a good piece of food and drink. In colder weather, you can instead sit protected in the newly built conservatory with underfloor heating. You have a wonderful view of the Hakefjord both from the plot and from many rooms in the cottage. Here the whole family will enjoy themselves!
The cottage is on an open floor plan with a combined kitchen and living room with all amenities. The living area has a heating stove and a TV corner with sofa group. You have a fast connection via fiber and Chromecast is available for the TV. 3D movies and 3D glasses are also available on loan. Exit to the nice conservatory where the dining room furniture is located. Bright bedroom with 160 cm wide double bed and duvet 70 cm wide, suitable for children. Fully tiled fresh bathroom with washing machine.
The cottage also includes a nice guest cottage with two single beds, perfect for older children or young people who want to be raw about themselves. Or if you are two couples. The guest house has a cozy terrace where you can sit and enjoy your holiday. The cottage has plenty of both indoor and outdoor toys for the kids.
About 1500 m to popular Låka bathing place, with sandy beach, cliffs, diving tower and toilets. Many sights and charming archipelago communities on Tjörn and Orust. Also take the opportunity to explore the fine hiking trails in the immediate area.
Well-stocked grocery store in Myggenäs, 5 km. To small service shop and pizzeria about 1 km. Close to service and entertainment in Stenungsund with a large shopping center and to Skärhamn with, among other things, the well-known Watercolor Museum with Nordic contemporary art. To the big city of Gothenburg with the well-known amusement park Liseberg about 55 km. Good communications also by bus.

West coast Bohuslän Warm cliffs, red boat houses, perfect fishing places, water sports and exciting tourist attractions are just some out of many experiences that Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast can offer you. There are a lot of activities for families with children. For instance you can visit an amusement park or a zoological park, exciting fortresses or museums where you can explore and experience.
Bohuslän has its own beautiful archipelago. Go visiting the Koster islands in the northern part of Bohuslän where you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your rented bicycle. You can also travel by boat to Bohuslän from Strømstad, a nice town, especially during the summer.
Sotenäs municipality consists of both large and small communities. Smögenbryggan is the most famous tourist attraction in the area. People from near and far come in order to see the lively boat traffic, shop in the stores and enjoy a nice meal in the cosy restaurants nearby.
Lysekil is situated in the outermost part of the boat harbour, and even if you stay in the centre of the town, the water and the boats are always quite near. A walk in Gamlestan is also worth experiencing.
The Skaftø peninsula is now known as the “salt island”, Saltøen, thanks to the Swedish television series of the same name. Picturesque places like e.g. Fiskebäckskil, Grundsund and Rågårdsvik are all well-attended in the summer.
At Törn and Orust there are nice bays and a beautiful nature. There are a lot of boats, and from Tjörn into the archipelago you can go on different boat trips. The short distance to Göteborg makes a day trip to Liseberg perfect.
Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation by post. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement and contains all necessary information. On the first page you will find information the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a route description. At the bottom of the page there is a detachable post card for ordering miscellaneous extras, which can be useful to have while on holiday. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due date.
On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key. More often than not electricity, water and other charges are included in the rental amount. Where this is not the case you will also receive an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.
If you wish to rent a boat or engine however, you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
Time of arrival Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences. If you expect to arrive at a different time please arrange this with the contact person in advance. Contact information can be found on your rental agreement.
On the detachable post card at the bottom of the rental agreement, miscellaneous extras can be ordered - however only those stated in the description of your holiday home.
All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can in some places be rented.
On the post card you can also order the final cleaning, if this is mentioned in the description of your holiday home.
All extras must be ordered in conjunction with sending the notice of arrival no less than 14 days before commencement of the rental period. If you wish to rent a boat or engine however you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
If you have rented a holiday home in which pets are permitted please remember that it is a lengthy and quite difficult process to obtain all necessary permits for the import of pets to Sweden. Therefore please contact the Swedish Tourist Board or embassy well in advance.
If you have booked a holiday home in Sweden you can either go via Copenhagen across the Øresund Bridge or take a ferry. The bridge toll is 225,- Danish Kroner/crossing. If you choose to go by ferry please remember to order your tickets well in advance.
