“Bedre information om vejbeskrivelse huset var meget svært st finde da der ikke var beskrevet at man skulle køre op over klipperne da vejen sluttede og ikke var afmærket med nr.66”

About the holiday home

Welcome to a wonderful nature and well-preserved and cozy cozy cottage at Hakenäset on Tjörn. A quiet and idyllic location where nature has embedded the cottage with both rocks, trees and nice lawn. The beautiful view from the mountain both next to and in front of the cottage is fantastic. Only 200m from the cottage you reach both the swimming area and walks along the water.

The cottage has an open kitchen and plenty of space in the living room for relaxing on the couch. In the tiled bathroom you have a shower, toilet and washing machine. In the larger bedroom there is a double bed (180cm) and in the second bedroom there is a bunk bed (90 / 120cm). Next to the cottage there is a guest cottage with 1 bunk bed (90 / 90cm). Perfect if you have young people who want to sleep a little themselves.

Out in the garden there is a lovely lawn both at the front and at the back. Here you can sit in the outdoor furniture and enjoy all the hours of the day and the calm atmosphere.

It is very child friendly and walking distance to good swimming area with both sandy beach and rocks. Should you want to make excursions, there are plenty of opportunities for this in the area and for those interested in golf, Tjörns GK is about 12 km from the cottage.

Tjörn is known for its Watercolor Museum, which is a Nordic center for contemporary art, with a focus on watercolor techniques. Also take the opportunity to experience the archipelago and the small fishing villages around Tjörn such as Klädesholmen and Kyrkesund or take the ferry from Rönnäng to the nearby car-free islands Åstol, Dyrön and Tjörnekalv. The city of Gothenburg with the well-known amusement park Liseberg is only 60 km from the cottage.

A memorable place and a cozy accommodation will make you want to return. Welcome!

About the area

About Tjörn

West coast Bohuslän Warm cliffs, red boat houses, perfect fishing places, water sports and exciting tourist attractions are just some out of many experiences that Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast can offer you. There are a lot of activities for families with children. For instance you can visit an amusement park or a zoological park, exciting fortresses or museums where you can explore and experience.

Bohuslän has its own beautiful archipelago. Go visiting the Koster islands in the northern part of Bohuslän where you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your rented bicycle. You can also travel by boat to Bohuslän from Strømstad, a nice town, especially during the summer.

Sotenäs municipality consists of both large and small communities. Smögenbryggan is the most famous tourist attraction in the area. People from near and far come in order to see the lively boat traffic, shop in the stores and enjoy a nice meal in the cosy restaurants nearby.

Lysekil is situated in the outermost part of the boat harbour, and even if you stay in the centre of the town, the water and the boats are always quite near. A walk in Gamlestan is also worth experiencing.

The Skaftø peninsula is now known as the “salt island”, Saltøen, thanks to the Swedish television series of the same name. Picturesque places like e.g. Fiskebäckskil, Grundsund and Rågårdsvik are all well-attended in the summer.

At Törn and Orust there are nice bays and a beautiful nature. There are a lot of boats, and from Tjörn into the archipelago you can go on different boat trips. The short distance to Göteborg makes a day trip to Liseberg perfect.
