About the holiday home

Modern and fresh cottage with sea views and both scenic and rural location, with only 250 m to the sea. In addition, you are only 30 minutes drive from Gothenburg and many attractions in Bohuslän. Great for families who want to live peacefully with proximity to both sights, salty baths and service. Here the whole family will enjoy themselves!

Enjoy the childfriendly shallow sandybeach which you can reach in a few minutes. (Here, kind cows roam freely on the beach meadows during the summer for six months. They may be a little curious, but are inoffensive.) Then sit on your nice terrace where you can enjoy both the sea view and breakfast with freshly brewed coffee. A better start to the day is hard to come by. The cottage was built in 2020 and lacks nothing for a comfortable holiday. Combined living room / kitchen TV corner with sofa, dining area and exit to the terrace. Two bedrooms, one with a 180 cm wide double bed and the other room has a bunk bed. Bathroom with washing machine. Lovely terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful view. The plot consists of lawn, perfect for games and play. WiFi via fiber.

Well-organized and well-visited bathing place is situated in Getskär, about 1.5 km north. Here you will find a sandy beach, cliffs and a jetty. Feel free to visit Svartedalen nature reserve with rich fishing waters, bathing lakes and hiking trails. You are also close to the golf course and Stenungs Torg's beautiful shopping center with about 60 shops and all other conceivable services. In summer, several events and activities are arranged here. Excellent location for excursions in the immediate area with many charming archipelago communities and sights on Tjörn and Orust. A few miles to the south also attracts Marstrand - the west coast's sailing metropolis with a bustling folk life, historic buildings and royal splendor. The nearest service point is Stora Höga 2 km. There is both a shop and some restaurants, but also good connections with both trains and Expressbuss to Gothenburg with the well-known amusement park Liseberg, 41 km.

The owner lives on his own plot about 50 m from your cottage.

Welcome to a modern and fresh cottage with sea views on the West Coast!

About the area

About Stenungsund

West coast Bohuslän Warm cliffs, red boat houses, perfect fishing places, water sports and exciting tourist attractions are just some out of many experiences that Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast can offer you. There are a lot of activities for families with children. For instance you can visit an amusement park or a zoological park, exciting fortresses or museums where you can explore and experience.

Bohuslän has its own beautiful archipelago. Go visiting the Koster islands in the northern part of Bohuslän where you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your rented bicycle. You can also travel by boat to Bohuslän from Strømstad, a nice town, especially during the summer.

Sotenäs municipality consists of both large and small communities. Smögenbryggan is the most famous tourist attraction in the area. People from near and far come in order to see the lively boat traffic, shop in the stores and enjoy a nice meal in the cosy restaurants nearby.

Lysekil is situated in the outermost part of the boat harbour, and even if you stay in the centre of the town, the water and the boats are always quite near. A walk in Gamlestan is also worth experiencing.

The Skaftø peninsula is now known as the “salt island”, Saltøen, thanks to the Swedish television series of the same name. Picturesque places like e.g. Fiskebäckskil, Grundsund and Rågårdsvik are all well-attended in the summer.

At Törn and Orust there are nice bays and a beautiful nature. There are a lot of boats, and from Tjörn into the archipelago you can go on different boat trips. The short distance to Göteborg makes a day trip to Liseberg perfect.
