A charming and spacious holiday home with great standards and a lovely ocean view from each level on the house, and equipped with a large patio and sauna.
This is a perfect holiday home for two families or large companies who want to live in the centre of Bohuslän and be close to bathing opportunities, service and all the other pleasures which Smögen has to offer.
Here you can enjoy the beautiful setting and view from most of the rooms and the large patio or the smaller balcony located on the upper floor.
The holiday home is equipped with fibre, which means there are unlimited browsing opportunities.
The holiday home is situated high on the mountain at the port of Väjerns, some kilometers north of Smögen.
The ground floor has its own entry and holds a large bedroom equipped with three beds and a kitchenette with a stove/oven and refrigerator, perfect for smaller families or youngsters who would like some privacy.
There is also a sauna and bathroom equipped with shower and washing machine on this level.
Upstairs there is a living room with a warming wood burning stove and a TV-sitting area, a brightly colored kitchen with a lovely ocean view from the dining area. Here you will find an exit to the fine patio where you can set the table to breakfast after a refreshing morning swim.
This is a wonderful place to enjoy the moment and see the sunset later on the evening.
There are three additional bedrooms on the upper floor. One equipped with a double bed and two smaller bedrooms that have no door between them, one with single bed (walk through room) and one with two single beds. A fully tiled bathroom with shower cabin and a small balcony is also located on the upper floor.
On the grounds there is a very simple cabin which has 1-2 extra beds. You can rent by the owner for 2000 SEK/week, but only at site and if you are more that 8 people in the company.
There are several good bathing spots just a small walk away. There are about 400m to the bathing area next to Tumlaren bathhouse which has indoor pool and a small children selection, whirlpool, massages, strength training and an outdoor bath barrel.
Do not miss out on the famous tourist destination “Smögenbryggan” (the bridge of Smögen) where you can enjoy the street life, the seafood and the busy boat traffic. You can get there by taking a small walk (about 30minutes).

West coast Bohuslän Warm cliffs, red boat houses, perfect fishing places, water sports and exciting tourist attractions are just some out of many experiences that Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast can offer you. There are a lot of activities for families with children. For instance you can visit an amusement park or a zoological park, exciting fortresses or museums where you can explore and experience.
Bohuslän has its own beautiful archipelago. Go visiting the Koster islands in the northern part of Bohuslän where you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your rented bicycle. You can also travel by boat to Bohuslän from Strømstad, a nice town, especially during the summer.
Sotenäs municipality consists of both large and small communities. Smögenbryggan is the most famous tourist attraction in the area. People from near and far come in order to see the lively boat traffic, shop in the stores and enjoy a nice meal in the cosy restaurants nearby.
Lysekil is situated in the outermost part of the boat harbour, and even if you stay in the centre of the town, the water and the boats are always quite near. A walk in Gamlestan is also worth experiencing.
The Skaftø peninsula is now known as the “salt island”, Saltøen, thanks to the Swedish television series of the same name. Picturesque places like e.g. Fiskebäckskil, Grundsund and Rågårdsvik are all well-attended in the summer.
At Törn and Orust there are nice bays and a beautiful nature. There are a lot of boats, and from Tjörn into the archipelago you can go on different boat trips. The short distance to Göteborg makes a day trip to Liseberg perfect.

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation by post. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement and contains all necessary information. On the first page you will find information the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a route description. At the bottom of the page there is a detachable post card for ordering miscellaneous extras, which can be useful to have while on holiday. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due date.
On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key. More often than not electricity, water and other charges are included in the rental amount. Where this is not the case you will also receive an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.
If you wish to rent a boat or engine however, you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
Time of arrival Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences. If you expect to arrive at a different time please arrange this with the contact person in advance. Contact information can be found on your rental agreement.
On the detachable post card at the bottom of the rental agreement, miscellaneous extras can be ordered - however only those stated in the description of your holiday home.
All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can in some places be rented.
On the post card you can also order the final cleaning, if this is mentioned in the description of your holiday home.
All extras must be ordered in conjunction with sending the notice of arrival no less than 14 days before commencement of the rental period. If you wish to rent a boat or engine however you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
If you have rented a holiday home in which pets are permitted please remember that it is a lengthy and quite difficult process to obtain all necessary permits for the import of pets to Sweden. Therefore please contact the Swedish Tourist Board or embassy well in advance.
If you have booked a holiday home in Sweden you can either go via Copenhagen across the Øresund Bridge or take a ferry. The bridge toll is 225,- Danish Kroner/crossing.
