About the holiday home

Welcome to this charming holiday home set four kilometres north of Lysekil. The holiday home is within walking distance of the child-friendly beach in Fiskebäck.

The cottage features a living room that opens onto the lovely conservatory with it's view of the sea. The small kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, a coffee maker, a fridge-freezer, and a microwave oven. There are two bedrooms. One has two single beds and a view of the bay. The other has a double bed ( two singles that are placed together). Please note that there's no door to this room, only a curtain. The bathroom features a WC, washbasin, and shower. It is located in the building right next to the house, you access it from the outside. There's also a little guest house with a bunk bed, but no electricity.

Lysekil is a beautiful and very popular summer town, offering an array of restaurants and activities, such as concerts, seal safaris, and the aquarium Havets Hus. The town is known for being one of northern Europe's best places for canoeing, diving, and fishing. Take a boat trip and admire the islands, or rent a kayak! There's also a beautiful promenade by the beach, from which you can enjoy the view.

If you are interested in history, don't miss the ancient rock carvings on the cliffs of Brodalen! History lovers will also enjoy the museum Vikarvet where you can learn about stone cutting and fishing in the area, as well as see the large collection of ships. For those who love swimming there's an excellent, child-friendly beach by Govik. There's another called Pinneviksbadet, with shallow water, public bathrooms, and a kiosk. You can also swim by the dock Trampen in the harbour. Those who want to go golfing can visit the new 18-hole golf course in Holma.

Welcome!

About the area

About Lysekil

West coast Bohuslän Warm cliffs, red boat houses, perfect fishing places, water sports and exciting tourist attractions are just some out of many experiences that Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast can offer you. There are a lot of activities for families with children. For instance you can visit an amusement park or a zoological park, exciting fortresses or museums where you can explore and experience.

Bohuslän has its own beautiful archipelago. Go visiting the Koster islands in the northern part of Bohuslän where you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your rented bicycle. You can also travel by boat to Bohuslän from Strømstad, a nice town, especially during the summer.

Sotenäs municipality consists of both large and small communities. Smögenbryggan is the most famous tourist attraction in the area. People from near and far come in order to see the lively boat traffic, shop in the stores and enjoy a nice meal in the cosy restaurants nearby.

Lysekil is situated in the outermost part of the boat harbour, and even if you stay in the centre of the town, the water and the boats are always quite near. A walk in Gamlestan is also worth experiencing.

The Skaftø peninsula is now known as the “salt island”, Saltøen, thanks to the Swedish television series of the same name. Picturesque places like e.g. Fiskebäckskil, Grundsund and Rågårdsvik are all well-attended in the summer.

At Törn and Orust there are nice bays and a beautiful nature. There are a lot of boats, and from Tjörn into the archipelago you can go on different boat trips. The short distance to Göteborg makes a day trip to Liseberg perfect.
