About the holiday home

For you nature lovers, this Attefallsstuga is located in a nice environment with the forest at the edge of the house. Near the nice hiking trail "Kustleden" which leads to the wonderful nature reserve "Nävekärr". A lovely walk down to the sea in Brofjorden with swimming from the jetty takes about 15 minutes through a lush forest that is lined with rich flora. Feel free to borrow the kayak that is included in the rent and experience the peace that the sea provides. Or rent the rowing boat for a fishing trip and maybe you get fresh mackerel to put on the grill. Several nice child-friendly baths are in the surroundings at a few km distance.

The cottage was built in 2016 and is fresh with a different interior. Open kitchen for easier cooking, bar table for three people, there is a high chair if needed. A ledge down is a smaller room with extra bed suitable for children. A warming wood stove can be lit for coziness on a cool evening. Those who want to take a hot bath there is a bathtub and the opportunity to watch news on TV while bathing. A steep ladder leads to the loft with two mattresses, not standing height. Bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. At the entrance there is a terrace with outdoor furniture and barbecue. The natural place to enjoy the holidays during warm beautiful summer days. Common plot. The cottage is a bit simpler and lacks a wardrobe and due to steep stairs and beds, it is not suitable for older guests.

The nature reserve "Näverkärr" has qualities beyond the ordinary, both in terms of nature and cultural history. During the summer there is a rich flora and the lush deciduous forest is popular with many bird species, so maybe you will hear nice birds chirping that you will be happy with. Feel free to visit Karlsvik with a beautiful sandy sandy beach framed by granite mountains. A beautiful bay for picnics and beach breaks for sunbathing and swimming. The cottage is located north of Lysekil and about the same distance you have to the popular archipelago resort Smögen, Bohuslän's oldest fishing village with the famous Smögenbryggan. Visit Nordens Ark, the well-known park for endangered animals, where our Princess Victoria is the park's highest patron.

About the area

About Lysekil

West coast Bohuslän Warm cliffs, red boat houses, perfect fishing places, water sports and exciting tourist attractions are just some out of many experiences that Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast can offer you. There are a lot of activities for families with children. For instance you can visit an amusement park or a zoological park, exciting fortresses or museums where you can explore and experience.

Bohuslän has its own beautiful archipelago. Go visiting the Koster islands in the northern part of Bohuslän where you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your rented bicycle. You can also travel by boat to Bohuslän from Strømstad, a nice town, especially during the summer.

Sotenäs municipality consists of both large and small communities. Smögenbryggan is the most famous tourist attraction in the area. People from near and far come in order to see the lively boat traffic, shop in the stores and enjoy a nice meal in the cosy restaurants nearby.

Lysekil is situated in the outermost part of the boat harbour, and even if you stay in the centre of the town, the water and the boats are always quite near. A walk in Gamlestan is also worth experiencing.

The Skaftø peninsula is now known as the “salt island”, Saltøen, thanks to the Swedish television series of the same name. Picturesque places like e.g. Fiskebäckskil, Grundsund and Rågårdsvik are all well-attended in the summer.

At Törn and Orust there are nice bays and a beautiful nature. There are a lot of boats, and from Tjörn into the archipelago you can go on different boat trips. The short distance to Göteborg makes a day trip to Liseberg perfect.
