From Finca Los Castaños you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the sea and, in good weather, of Mount Teide. The finca is in a quiet location in the upper part of San Juan de la Rambla, 590 meters above sea level. The stylishly and comfortably furnished house, including the extension, is available for your sole use. Even if you are traveling with fewer than five people, all rooms in the house are open to you, so you can decide for yourself which rooms you want to use. The finca also has a covered private pool with relaxation area and solar shower, as well as a spacious, enclosed courtyard (6,000 square meters) with fruit trees.
Surroundings: Shopping 1.5 km, supermarket 1 km, restaurant 500 m, sea 5 km, bathing bay 5 km, Tenerife North Airport 37 km, La Guancha 5 km, Icod de los Vinos 9 km, Santa Cruz de Tenerife 48 km.
Activities: Private outdoor pool, 21 sqm, partly covered, heatable (for a fee), outdoor shower. Various hiking trails with different levels of difficulty start in the immediate vicinity of your accommodation. We also recommend a hike around the Teide, for example on the Siete Cañadas circular route. Information about the routes is available at the El Portillo Visitor Center. Another tip is to take the cable car up Mount Teide.
For children: 2 cots (in addition to the maximum occupancy), please reserve.

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
