“Enjoy your stay during this holiday! The location has a lot of privacy and is beautifully situated, the swimming pool is tip top in order and we could use well at 38 ° days to refresh. The cottage itself is simple and a bit dated but clean and alright. Washing machine and dishwasher were handy extras. Only the two single beds were renewed ... The house owner is very friendly and helpful as described. You absolutely need a car, otherwise you can not start it. Higuera (5 min drive), Dia supermarket in Villanueva de la Concepcion (15 min drive). There are also eateries where you can eat tapas or more. Cafeteria Oasis is almost always open (except Sunday) and has a friendly owner And simple, cheap dishes. La Torfa is also recommended with the menú del día you can eat under 20 EUR 3 courses + drink something with 2 people! Antequera is a beautiful city and also Málaga and the coast is not far away.”

“For tranquility. Lots of privacy. The only sounds are goats Belgian ringing and dogs barking. The view is beautiful as in previous discussions said. The hedge did not bother us because it gives a lot of privacy. The cottage is not really modern, but comfortable enough. The owner is very friendly, but speaks only Spanish. Swimming definitely ok. The cottage is a bit secluded, yet close enough to easily get to do to major attractions. In the hamlet (La Higuera) you can find small shop in the main village of Villanueva de la Concepcion, a small supermarket and a few restaurants.”

“Wonderful holiday in beautiful surroundings in this lovely cottage (clean and well maintained). Beautiful large garden / terrace with all possibilities for sun and shade. Ideal for relaxing in privacy. Pool is not ready in the spring. Homeowner is extremely friendly (speaks only Spanish). House is centrally located, but a bit remote. Consider roads sometimes not very good condition and will therefore longer travel times (Antequera over 30 minutes, 1 hour Malaga, Cordoba / Granada over 2 hours). View is beautiful but the hedge you do not see so well.”

“Cozy cottage in a rural setting on the mountainside with a lot of privacy. We have been there with our two children (8 and 11) had a great holiday. You have a nice view of the beautiful surroundings. This is somewhat disturbed by the hedge around the house, so you have to stand up. This is a lovely stone cottage with 2 bedrooms in Villanueva de la Concepción. It offers a breathtaking view of the mountains, valleys, and a lake. It is ideal for a family.

The cottage is 17 km from the nature park of El Torcal de Antequera. The El Chorro lake is only 30 km away. The lively city of Málaga with its vibrant culture and beaches is just 55 km away. Antequera 15 km away is also worth a visit. The Antequera Golf is 21 km from the home and will delight golf lovers. There's a restaurant 4 km away and a supermarket 20 km from the home.

The home has a private swimming pool where you can take a refreshing dip. You can lounge on one of the two roofed terraces with a drink or enjoy a barbecue in the fenced garden. There's a children's bed and you're allowed to bring 2 pets.
