“We had a very warm welcome. The accommodation was great. A beautiful home with lots of comfort and a very good bed. A wonderfully stocked fridge, with tasty wijn.De garden was in a word great, lovely seats on both sides of the house. In the area, many nice towns, you can eat delicious for little money. There is a wonderful Spa in Monchique. In short, a lot of culture, beach and we had a lot of sun!”

“Beautiful place just outside the village. If you come for nature and peace is all right! Apartment is well furnished, reasonably spacious with terrace and access to swimming pool. The owner is experienced and friendly. The two dogs there are sweet and easy going. However, if you are used to sitting completely on yourself, the place may be slightly less suitable because of your privacy. All in all everything has been above expectations. Car is useful in connection with location. Child-friendly environment with a relaxed atmosphere.”

“The location is easy to find within 1 hour drive from Faro. Looks beautiful with views around the hills and mountain area of Monchique. The pool is welcome if it is very hot. We have been able to view all 3 apartments, all of them clean, spacious, fully equipped and value for money. The front and back garden with certain privacy is fantastic. Parking on site. Nice house / villa area where you can also walk for a walk. Just a 15-minute drive, you are on the beach with beautiful promenade Portimao. And also a lot to see and do in towns at 30 to 45 minutes away. Nice restaurants nearby, good food and cheap. There are many leaflets in the apartments, so you do not have to go to a tourist office. You can make all kinds of fun walks, walk or by car. Owner Eddy Lagrand, who personally received us, is a top host, knows a lot about the area and Portuguese culture. Speaks next to Dutch, English and Portuguese. Lots learned .... The fridge was already filled with some fun and extra gestures with 2 bottles of wine, yes, what do you do with that? You will enjoy what he and his wife and daughter have done in the many years with Name the tiles are museum pieces. The 2 dogs (dogs are generally present in Portuguese homes) are fun and obedient. They can walk for hours a day in the huge garden, but do not bother the guests. In case of objection of guests, we understand, they will not be released. One of the apartments is also suitable for disabled people. The 2 person apartment, where we sat, is also GIGA big. For the TV viewers, there is 1 joint Ned.Belgie channel and further German / BC etc. If you want to read, there are also Ned books in the cabinets. In short it was a wonderful time there. A 10”
