“Beautiful house in a quiet park. The house can accommodate 4 people and is very well equipped. When we arrived everything was clean, the beds made and the bottle of wine was ready on the table, what more could you ask for. We coordinated with the landlord by phone before arrival and discussed all the details. Due to the proximity to the beach and to Alkmaar, the holiday home is ideally located. We would love to come back”

“Nice quiet park. Unfortunately no possibility to park the car at the door. The cottage is not suitable for people or animals with walking difficulties. And not for young children. But once used to all the weird steps / stairs and where you have to bend down, a lovely house. With a nice enclosed garden and plenty of outdoor furniture. Unfortunately no bicycle shed.”

The park is generally somewhat faded glory, but the surroundings (Schoorl, Bergen, sea and beach) make up for that completely. Everything to do well on the bike.”

“Already before arrival contacted us the very nice landlord and we could arrive relaxed. We knew the house already from the previous year and looked forward to staying in a cozy cottage. In good weather, the terrace invites from noon with sunshine to linger. With too much sun the garden also offers shady places. We could enjoy the fruit tree blossom and the blooming tulip fields almost directly on the doorstep (behind the dike). The area is ideal for long bike rides. The Schoorlse Duinen can be wonderfully explored by bike, on foot or combined. It is a varied landscape with many opportunities for people who like to move. We will be happy to come back.”

About the holiday home

This is a beautiful 2 bedroom holiday home in Warmenhuizen. It is close to a beautiful beach and dunes and is perfect for a seaside holiday with family or friends.

The beach is 7 km away. The surroundings of Schoorl are of course known for the beautiful nature reserve the Schoorlse Duinen. This is the widest and highest dune area in North Holland, with beautiful forests where you can enjoy cycling and walking. Cities such as Alkmaar, with its cozy cheese market on Fridays, or Schagen, with its West Frisian market in high season, are also worth a visit. You will find a supermarket and restaurant 2 and 2.5 km away respectively.

The house gets a lot of sunlight and has a spacious living room with a fireplace, where you can all sit comfortably. The open kitchen is fully equipped. The garden is enclosed with a hedge, so you have a lot of privacy.

It is allowed to bring 3 pets for € 25 per pet.

The Alkmaar train station is 11 km away. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is 56 km away.
