“On arrival we were kindly received by the owner who lives opposite the house. She gave us a tour of the house and gave some explanations. House is not luxurious but we knew this in advance, we did not expect this. What I find more important that luxury is that it is clean. Apart from quite a lot of cobwebs and dust, the bathrooms and toilet were clean. The jacuzzi had only just been turned on on arrival, so it was not ready for use on the day of arrival, when we took the lid off, there was a huge smell from the jacuzzi, there was all kinds of things floating in it that you don't really want see if you are still in a lot and the seats were covered in a white greasy layer. We immediately reported this and it was then said that something would be done about this that same evening. However, in our opinion this took a very long time and we eventually emptied the jacuzzi ourselves, cleaned it and refilled it (with warm water) so that we could still go in at the beginning of the night, we thought we deserved this. During our 2nd day in the house, lightning struck, something that no one can do anything about. This caused the fire alarm system to malfunction and it was nice that the owners live close by. They solved this right away. there are 2 bathrooms 1 with a bath and 1 with 3 showers next to each other. the disadvantage of this is that with 19 men shower in 3 showers this gets dirty pretty quickly. there was no tractor or something so your feet were dirtier after the shower than before the shower. In addition, there was a gigantic leak in the ceiling from the bathroom with the showers and this dripped into the living room right on the dining table. All in all we had a very nice and pleasant weekend together. Super friendly owners but we will not come back for the house. The house deserves some love and attention.”
