“Beautiful house in a beautiful location. After 2 km of unpaved road (5 minutes drive) you arrive at a beautiful house with a lovely swimming pool. House is spacious and has a fantastic terrace on the 1st floor with a view over the mountains. Too bad there are no sunbeds around the pool. Furniture on the roof terrace is also minimal, otherwise highly recommended.”

“What a beautiful location! Truly a special place. The house is beautiful, the people with whom contact is maintained super friendly and the environment is wonderful. Super luxurious with a swimming pool and fully equipped. We found the road to it very easy to drive. The animals are also very nice; the dog is one of the sweetest in the world (comes to cuddle all day), there are cats, chickens and cows are regularly in the area. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet in a rural environment.”

The house is completely secluded and surrounded by beautiful nature and of course the breathtaking mountains of Montserrat.Beautiful house, artfully decorated and comfortably equipped. The hospitality of the contacts Salvator, David and Jordy was just top! They assisted us at all times: recommending restaurants, walks, non-touristy beaches, wine estates. In short, they breathe Catalonia! We enjoyed the house and its location in nature, the tranquility, the hospitality. An absolute must!”

“We had a wonderful holiday week in the house Cal Sant Miquel.Het home is not as easy to find and the last 10 minutes to the house looks like a safari. A dirt road with potholes and track it. Very adventurous, but be prepared for this. Also a message is at least 20 minutes rijden.Als you have reached the house you find yourself in an oasis of calm. The house is very spacious and very stylishly decorated with beautiful, partly antique stuff. Everything is there. A bit of getting used to it that the kitchen downstairs and a large dining table. This walk quite often up and down with drink and food etc. if you want to eat on the terrace. The owner Salvador is very friendly and speaks good English. He is happy to assist you with all kinds of tips. He was a semi-professional mountaineer so you can make there way around if you'd willen.Op the yard lives a man Jordi, he is present at arrival and it can also ask any questions. He also speaks English.The house has a large, partially covered terrace on the first floor. Here the wind blows constantly, making it very pleasant and pretty cool. A beautiful view you have here in the mountains of Montserrat.”

“We had a week in gewekidge Farmstead. The house is beautiful, fully restored in the old style with an eye for modern conveniences like a good kitchen and wifi. The area offers something for everyone, beautiful nature, the mountain of Montserrat within reach, Barcelona at a distance of about three quarters, but also the opportunity to enjoy. “Superb (off) situated house, just search and 4 km of dirt roads. Beautifully situated and fully equipped. Very friendly owners who live next to the house and fully respect your privacy. But nice conversation partners and more than that. Our son was by Salva initiated into the secrets of free climbing on the rocks of Montserrat. Barcelona beach at 1 hour distance and (if it's not too hot, plenty of walks in the surrounding countryside. Not suitable for clubbers and those who can not have fun, well suited for nature lovers, lovers of cooking (fine cuisine) and people themselves of peace keeping.”

“The house is situated high in the mountains, reached along a narrow path, with loose rocks. Decor is very tasteful, spacious, tidy, taking into account respect for nature and his omgeving.Huiseigenaren are very friendly and helpful.”

“The location of the house at Sant Miquel is fabulous: away from everything, in the mid of the Mediterranean forest, dominated by the mountains of Montserrat. There are many hiking routes in the area (maps and guide books are amply provided) and the home owners are eager to help you with biking, climbing and other forms of exploration. At the same time, you get into contact with the Catalonian culture, its political context, but also its cultural history. Many places 'worth a visit' are nearby (from Vic to Montblanc to Solsona, and of course Montserrat) and from El Bruc, there is an easy bus connection to Barcelona. The beach at Vilanova i el Geltru is only one hour driving away. The interior of the house is splendid, especially the kitchen, which invites the preparation of sumptuous meals. We (two parents, two children, 14 and 16) stayed for three weeks and never had a dull moment.”

About the holiday home

Isolated farmhouse with 3 bedrooms to host 6 people, located on a farm 60 km from Barcelona. An ideal place for a wonderful vacation and to relax.

The farm is surrounded by forests and access to the property is through an unpaved road. The center of Sant Pau de La Guardia El Bruc is 8 km away. Within a radius of 5 km, there are several restaurants. Due to the good connection, a visit to Barcelona is a must, as is getting close to towns and beaches on the Mediterranean coast.

Also the garden, the new space to relax and the fenced pool are private for guests and perfect for those families seeking calm, comfort and privacy in the middle of nature. A large terrace offers nice views of the beautiful surroundings. The caretaker and two very loving dogs live next to the farm and always guarantee the privacy, service and safety of our guests.
