Holiday home “Het Houten Kwartier” is located in a beautiful sheltered spot between the trees near the beach of Ouddorp. It is a quarter of a detached family holiday home “Het Houten Huis”. The symmetry, the use of wood and bright colors make it a fairytale house. The "Houten Kwartier" is completely separated from the main house with its own access and garden, the only thing you share is the entrance gate. Your private parking space is located on the large parking lot covered with shells. You reach your holiday home via the large playing field. The large lawn with swing and picnic table is ideal for children. The holiday home is suitable for 5 people and has a cozy living room with sitting area and an open kitchen that is fully equipped to prepare a delicious meal. In addition to the living room, on the ground floor there is also a storage room, a toilet with sink and washing machine. Through the entrance door you enter a hall with on the left the living room and the stairs to the first floor with two bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a double bed of 160 x 200 and a wooden cot. The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed and a single bed. This house is therefore very suitable for a family with children. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, a sink and a toilet. The terrace has sun all day and is adjacent to the lawn where children can play. There are good deck chairs, an outdoor table, a number of reclining chairs and 2 sun loungers.• On request it is possible to rent a 2nd part (if available), the so-called 3rd quarter, with 2 bedrooms and an extra bathroom (not for children).

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house
This holiday home is available for recreational purposes only. Bookings on behalf of companies will be cancelled and possible cancellation costs will be charged

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
