“Good reception with the manager (Dutch manager's language was a plus). The cottage has enough comfort in bathroom and kitchen. Surrounding area is beautiful, cottage is in a dead end street, very quiet. In the immediate vicinity there are plenty of walks (both in the forests and in the Giant Mountains. Adequate possibilities for staying with children for 14 days.Not far from a big city with supermarkets.”

“The holiday home is just outside Rudnik on a quiet road. The location is beautiful right on the foot of the Giant Mountains. For the fans it is possible to climb part of the Giant Mountains from the home. We ourselves have also climbed the highest peak Sneska with breathtaking views of northern Czech Republic and Poland. From the house several trips are possible in both the Czech Republic and in Poland. The house is definitely worth it, even for a second time.”

“Had a great holiday week with sun and rain. With the garden chairs on the adjacent lawn or in the rain under the roof sat at the front door. Unlike many Czech cottages (with lots of dark oak and ditto rugs) Light and airy Ikea-style interior. Very complete kitchen. Pleasant bedrooms, neat bathroom, shower. Babbling brook beside the road at the door. Tasty restaurants (and of course Czech cheap!) Nearby. For hikers (rising) trek to adjacent wild forest or hills / meadows with wild lookout cabins.”

“Walked a lot, not so rough terrain. Good signage. The road to the house was just full of holes, this part of the trip was still the hardest. Inside it was well equipped, good kitchen. Downstairs shower had a shower & quotlam & quotwas, he was suddenly spraying! Towards the ceiling But alas holidays! Trutnov 2 good and large supermarkets. And there was also an ATM, for & quotwisselgeld "”

“We had a great holiday. The house is well equipped, all you need is plentiful. There were a few minor flaws that are not dropped weight. The house is to be read as in the other review very noisy. The floor creaks up very loud so here every step is heard. The manager on site is very nice and helpful. The location of the house is ideal for hikers and sports enthusiasts. All ski resorts (Cerna Hora, Spindleruv Mlyn and Pec pod Snezkou) can be reached within 15 minutes. Supermarkets are also found in about 10 minutes drive time.”

“A very nice stay with two families (both 2 +2). The rooms are in good condition and the house was neat and clean. The four bedrooms upstairs (two beds a) provide sufficient space and time to retire. The floor creaks in the floor very strong, so that one is in the other bedroom partly awake. The heating system is quite noisy. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering (stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishes, cutlery and glasses). The village has no shops and restaurants, so very, very quiet. Despite strong Schnefalls no winter service to the house and the clearing of the (only) road very slowly. Directions to Janske Lazne resort about 15 minutes (you have to be there before 10.00 clock, otherwise the parking lot at the gondola full). They're on their way to the restaurants recommended Janske Lazne both very (in boreal Mlade Buky and in the restaurant in Hertvikovice.”

The location is ideal to explore Vrchlabi and the ski centre Spindleruv Mlyn at 15 km and Prague at 130 km. Nordic skiing excursions are possible and you can also try golf and cross country. Public swimming pool is at 5 km and the ski lift is at 6 km. The town centre and supermarket are nearby at 5 km while restaurants can be reached at 3 km.
