“Communication with the landlord went smoothly. We found the deposit very high, but it was quickly refunded afterwards. Energy and water costs were also handled correctly through photos of meter readings before and after. We had a WiFi problem, which was neatly resolved by the landlord. Photos of the accommodation are nicer than what it looks like now. Otherwise a nice place to stay. Pool billiards, table football, table tennis and jeu de boulle court are available. Quiet area. Lots of beautiful nature a short distance away. Recommended for groups of around ten people .”

From the house you can walk into the High Fens. The bedrooms are all new with private toilet and shower or bathroom.Beneden also enough space.De kitchen a bit on the small side with little storage space for the stuff.But you can manage with that for a week.All in all, a good stay.Definitely worth the effort worth.”

In terms of atmosphere, I miss the cohesion of all rooms. The sleeping floors have been renovated and modern. The ground floor is a bit dark, low, older.”

“Wonderfully quiet location near Mont Rigi Rigi and Baraque. Beautiful walking on the Hoge Veenen and near the pleasant city of Malmedy.Huis has very nice bedrooms and bathrooms (well finished), a large sitting room with TV and a large dining room with a long table and pool table (great for teenagers). The only downside (you) is the tight hob that is too small to make multi-pan dishes for 10+ people.”

“The comfort between the rooms is very great. Too big. Room with walk-in shower and toilet and 4 sleeping places in the hallway without daylight. There was odor nuisance in several sanitary rooms. The table football upstairs is very unhappy. The kitchen is on the small side. Fortunately, the company made up for it. Bacon stove was also broken. Good thing we didn't need these.”

“The outside of the house is very beautiful, with a lovely terrace and garden, a pétanque court, etc. Although much view from the street, a planted hedge would offer a little more privacy. Since the container park is close by, there is still relatively much passage there. On arrival, the house was not dirty but also not very clean. We were hesitant to ask for our money back for the cleaning. After all, babies were completely dirty after half an hour of crawling, which does not really indicate a thorough cleaning (with wet). The photos show modern, fresh rooms and this is the case with the exception of one photo. has no windows and is therefore not worthy to pass as "room". Ventilation is not possible there and frankly this must be communicated. Also the kitchen may be a bit too small for maximum number of guests but this is not insurmountable and moreover it is well equipped The ground floor can be nicer finished but in the summer this is not really a problem It would be nice if the detached veranda was completely finished so that the colder evenings should not be spent in half a construction site without neighbors and sleeping We were also asked before the start of our holiday to stay inside after 10 pm so that we would not disturb the neighborhood, as the previous group caused noise complaints. k but this does not immediately contribute to a holiday mood at the beginning of the holiday and moreover, as a tenant you are not responsible for the actions of your predecessors. In any case, you had a top stay in a beautiful region, literally at the "foot" of the Botrange and peat areas . The above comments are not deal breakers but should be better communicated, both textually and through photos.”

About the holiday home

A harmonious blend of authenticity and modernity, this holiday home in the heart of the Ardennes in Waimes has 6 bedrooms and can accommodate 14 people (10 adults and 4 children) the place is ideal for family and groups.
Originally, the house was an Ardennes farm that has been completely renovated with environmentally-friendly materials. The large garden will be loved by children where they can play different games, the garden also has garden furniture where the family can enjoy meals.
In winter, it's lovely to spend time indoors. The house is very well heated thanks especially to its two large cast-iron stoves on the ground floor.
Walks or bicycle rides will be great for exploring the Hautes Fagnes Nature Park. In winter, snow walks and especially cross-country skiing thanks to plenty of ski track less than 5 km from the house is advised. Not to mention Malmedy, the Reinhardstein castle, Bütgenbach lake and the car circuit at Spa-Francorchamps.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
Reservations for groups of persons under 30 years of age are not permitted
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house
