Okrug is a traditional Dalmatian village located on the western side of the island of Čiovo, connected to the famous Trogir town and on to the mainland by the bridge. Okrug is claimed to be one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Croatia with its 2,670 sunny hours per year. Okrug is actually two places: Gornji (Upper) and Donji (Lower). Donji Okrug is quieter, easy to walk, a bit isolated, but not far from Okrug Gornji, with wider selection of bars, taverns and restaurants. More facilities and entertainment are easily available in Trogir and Split. Once the bus schedule is mastered, traveling by public transport is also easy. In addition, there is a regular boat service to Trogir and from there on to Split, which is a great solution if you are not traveling by car.

This recently renovated traditional Dalmatian house is located in an elevated position in the village and from the balconies you have a beautiful view of the bay and strip of the Adriatic Sea to the mainland. This one bedroom apartment covers the first floor of the house. It has a bedroom, while the living room, bedroom and kitchen are combined in one room. Two single sofa beds in the living room can be joined into a double bed. The apartment has a sea view terrace with dining table and coffee table and great views and becomes a relaxing retreat after a day spent at the beach or walking around. The home also benefits from the shared barbecue in the garden in front of the house.

The owners occasionally occupy the ground floor. They can be a great help if you need them, otherwise they keep to themselves. There is a free car park nearby, while a small supermarket is just across the street. The nearest pebble beach is a 5-10 minute walk from the house, and it is great to travel with children. Going further along the coast it is always possible to find a secluded place to enjoy the forest and the sea.

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
