“The arrival and departure was contactless. You should always keep an eye on your emails. The shower hose in the bathtub was missing, as one should have cooled down there after the sauna without having to walk through the whole house…. We had wonderful weather and didn't need a sauna under the roof anyway. We were very satisfied with the mattresses. However, you should have toilet paper with you. The house is inexpensive, but you should have everything with you. The layout is good, two separate (shower and bathroom) toilets offer comfort. We'd love to come back again.”

“The cottage is good, but the hostess is not customer friendly. We were "late" for 20 minutes according to her, which made us pay an extra 20 euros. She was very curt. Furthermore, there was nothing in the house in terms of hygiene (toilet roll in toilet, air freshener in toilet, etc.”

“The house was not clean. We are really not difficult, but we could hardly see through the windows so dirty. In every corner (up and down) there were spider webs. If there is water on the floor in the bathroom, the drops come down in the living room because there is not properly sealed. The same with the sauna, when it is switched on for a while, the water drips down through the ceiling. Floor above creaks very much (probably because of those leaks) In terms of space, it is sufficient, but it can certainly be improved especially when it comes to cleaning!”

“Beautiful house, tasteful decor and the sauna is an added value, but the hygiene is unfortunately missing. Very dusty and not clean at all. We even doubt whether it was pre-cleaned.”

“We stayed with 6 adults and 1 baby. The house is very spacious, has enough parking space for several cars and is located in a beautiful walking area. It is a pity, however, that the water leakage from the bathroom which drips down through the ceiling in the living room (also read in a review from 3 years ago) is still not remedied. When we made this known to the landlord at the end of our stay, he reacted very surprised. As well as the shower in the downstairs bathroom where the water drains badly and this makes the bathroom blank Finally, we found the cleaning fee of 80 euros that we paid at the beginning of our stay in disproportionate to how the house was actually cleaned.Cobwebs on the ceiling above the shower, dust flakes with hair on the floor of the bathroom. this house would be better cleaned and the water problems of both bathrooms repaired, this is a great house.”

“Beautiful holiday home, only the first contact with the lady who had to open the door was a disaster. We had agreed at 6 pm but due to the many flooding problems in Wallonia, my GPS tilted and I was 20 minutes late. The first thing this lady said was that I had to pay €20. This is a great shame. I will never pay for this one. A judge will decide on this, although it will cost me thousands of euros.”

“We were very well received after a telephone contact (appointment time of arrival) the mrs spoke Dutch and gave a good tour, about the house and garden almost nothing to criticize, We also received a key to the large garden house for bicycle etc. to store, There was no washing machine that you might miss if you stay a little longer, if I may have to give a point of criticism, it was that the doors squeak everywhere and it is annoying at night, it is a great house to spend with friends to go certainly with the 2 bathrooms that are there, Sauna worked well, For shops you have to go to Houffalize (10min, by car) where there is a Spar and Delhaize, In Houffalize is also the tourist information office where you can buy a hiking map for only 7 euros, The walks also leave there, On departure the mrs was there at 10.00 as agreed and asked if we had a comment, (beep mentioned and will be solved with a little oil), greetings peter”

This holiday home is an ideal base for exploring the Belgian Ardennes region. For excursions, the towns of Durbuy, La Roche, and Bastogne are nearby.

An open kitchen with cooker, toaster, microwave, oven and dishwasher is accessible for you to use. Central heating and wood stove are installed to keep you comfortable inside. You can relish a cup of steaming coffee on the terrace with your loved ones.

You can check-in between 4-6 PM and check-out can be done from 9-10 AM.
