“Very friendly owner showed us the house on arrival. The cottage is not too big but perfect for 4 people and 2 dogs. The garden is completely fenced which is very nice with 2 beagles. The beds are good and the jacuzzi is fantastic. For a holiday that takes place outside a lot with walks and enjoying the large garden, this is a true paradise. What would have added value to me is a shelter at the front door so that the shoes outside can stand in rainy weather. But this is more of a Nice than a need to have!”

“the house is very pleasant, very quiet and if you want to recharge your batteries, it is the ideal place with the paths a little lower along the river. The only problem is that when you arrive, you have to clean the fridge , the freezer full of water and the ice cubes which float, the grills of the BBQ still full of fat from the previous tenants, empty the dishwasher of its cutlery. As for the toilet window, it is better to hang on. The outside garbage cans were still filled with garbage. It is therefore only a concern of cleanliness which should be solved to further increase the quality of the house. But all this will not prevent us from coming back to it.”

First vacuumed everything myself and cleaned up dead flies, spiders, dog hairs and crumbs from the previous residents and then started the holiday. The fenced garden is large, from the terrace and from the cottage one has a very nice view and the location of the cottage is fantastic as well as the beautiful surroundings. Nothing but forests, great for people who love nature and know how to enjoy it. The cottage - the last cottage in the village - is in a very quiet location, the road that runs past the cottage is not a nuisance and is only driven a little busier at certain times, then it is quiet. Behind the garden is a separate building with in it a jacuzzi, which is wonderful. In the area you can take beautiful walks and see many animals when you are quiet. For those who seek peace and relaxation and can enjoy the beautiful nature, this is an ideal place. If you do not like nature or being outside or looking for entertainment, then this house is not recommended. This is really something for nature lovers. The cottage is not that big so not suitable for more than 4 people and not suitable for couples, families or groups of friends. The garden is suitable for a family with 2 young children, but for children there is little distraction or entertainment on site. The cottage is more suitable for adults with or without pets who want to walk and enjoy peace and the surrounding beautiful nature. I have spent 3 fantastic weeks there with my 2 dogs and hope to see it next years to go again. I am very grateful to the owner for the hospitality he gave. “Neatly called what time we arrived, it was indicated that the door was locked and this allowed us even a little earlier, top. The accommodation was simple but fine enough for us. Few points for improvement: garden furniture: a few good adjustable chairs with good cushions would be very welcome, the sunshade was broken, the toilet seat was loose, the kitchen cupboard was loose, the outside door clamped properly. During our stay, the internet and the TV suddenly stopped working because the bill was not paid. Called the landlord and he quickly arranged that this was back in order. The garden has overdue pruning, so the view in the wonderful Jacuzzi was not as indicated. The garden was well fenced and nice and large so that our dogs could relax. The surroundings are beautiful, you walk from the accommodation into the forest and within 100 meters a beautiful flowing stream. Seen a lot of wildlife, wild boar, roe deer and red deer. Nice view from the terrace on the Ardennes. In Sint Hubert you can go for groceries, Aldi, Market and a new Lidl under construction. The pizzeria in the center is also a recommendation. We had a great holiday there and enjoyed the peace.”
