“June 2023. We spent 1 week in holiday home "La Buse". The house is beautifully situated and close to beautiful towns and nature reserves. The garden receives a big compliment for the architecture, the diversity of flora and the maintenance. We and our dog really enjoyed the garden. The house is fully equipped, the beds are good and clean. The wood stove is wonderful. Everything has been thought of, for young and old. Even when it rains you can enjoy yourself with the many games. Unfortunately, the house was very dirty, it had probably not been cleaned for a while. The refrigerator was moldy and full of leftover food and bugs. So are the kitchen cabinets. The bathroom and toilet were also very dirty. Black mold edges in the shower. The walls and corners were moldy with loads of cobwebs and dead bugs. We couldn't get in touch with the manager. The phone was not answered and our voicemail message was not answered. Pity!!! Had this been in order, we would have found this house fantastic.”

“Very nice house, quiet area, we really came to rest. Keep in mind that there is no central heating, but the wood stove provides good warmth and atmosphere in the house. Beautiful garden!!! Nice the cows around you from the farm next door. We would like to come back again!”

“Never rent this house in winter. No central heating, constantly wet floor and puddles of water in the living room, just came out of the ground! Even with the wood stove on day and night, everywhere wak and damp and mold in the corners :(”

“Sometimes a somewhat damp house, a little bit of mold here and there. Otherwise fine. The dishwasher is there but it is far from the kitchen and living room so you don't use it. There is no central heating, but there is a good wood stove. Upstairs where people sleep, it gets very hot, downstairs it is comfortable. The garden is fine and great for playing football or playing tag.”

“La Buse is a wonderful holiday accommodation. Escape the crowds and enjoy the beautiful nature around the residence. The accommodation itself is very pleasant, beautiful kitchen with all mod cons and comfortable seating area cozy by the wood stove and TV. Outside is a nice large round table and chairs with cushions that are comfortable. The garden is amazing!! Nice and big so you can play football or badminton. At the end of the garden you also have a beautiful view but also at the front! Nice utility room with washing machine and a nice bathroom with a lovely shower. In the area there is much to do beautiful towns and nice walks galore, the drip caves in Hotton are definitely recommended! In short, we would like to come back to this pearl of a house!”

“The house itself is fine. The garden is wonderfully large.Echter the house is a bit smoezelig over.Bij entry a lot of flies and it was just dirty here and there. Cobwebs and dead flies were everywhere. Even in the drawers of the kitchen were leftovers from the previous occupants. The dishes were dirty put back in the closet. We first cleaned everything, especially because we were going to stay there for 2 weeks. Then we had a wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings.”

“Beautiful house, everything is there, even a washing machine and dishwasher. Nice spacious garden, but not fenced. Nice area, near La Roche en Marche. The cottage is next to a stable with low cows, which have given us short nights on several occasions. There are also an incredible amount of flies. The eclipse above could be better, once the sun is up, you are awake.”

“House was nice and quiet, but a lot of flies and it was very primitive regarding heating. With a petrol fire in the bathroom, which we did not find ideal. It was also not really clean in the house. lots of cobwebs and dust threads. Above the shower a crack in the ceiling and mold in the corner of the living room. We will certainly not go back a second time.”

“Beautiful rural house. All comfort and cozy layout. After collecting the key, the holiday could begin. Hearth was already lit and a nice beer was ready. So great reception! Inside clean and perfectly maintained (large!) Garden. Contact also ran smoothly. So, perfect location just between Marche and La Roche. So you are not in the center but very quiet. The only drawback is that you cannot go to the bakery on foot.”

“nice, cozy house that can be found quickly. I think the only white house. A big garden where you can indeed escape from each other. Had to just put on the fireplace and open everything to expel the "damp air" but that was done in no time. Environment is fantastic and you can walk well, MTB "and in the immediate vicinity. We will definitely come back to the Belgian Ardennes, fantastic environment.”

“The environment is super. The very large garden is a treat for any dogs and / or children. This is not fenced, so you will always have to keep an eye on everything. Inside are all the necessary appliances, as well as it is cool inside (during our holiday it was 30 ° outside). In the vicinity ( Rendeux, Hotton, La Roche En Ardenne, ...) there are plenty of walking routes, animations restaurants present.”

“Under par. Bad location. Garden is large but not closed so beware of child and pet. Kitchen primitive and even connected to open space with some stove, just do not get hot. Some bedroom downstairs to heat with stove on fuel oil, which is not really pleasant. Lucky you in the area have some beauty and make it what you want ...”

You can enjoy the rural setting of the house and enjoy long walks in the garden and neighbouring areas. La Roche, a beautiful village, is less than 10 km away.
