This beautiful detached holiday home for a maximum of 7 people is located in the village of Wernberg in Carinthia, near Villach, between Lake Ossiach, Lake Faaker and Lake Wörthersee and near the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area.

The holiday home consists of 2 holiday apartments, the holiday apartment on the upper floor (suitable for families with max. 2 adults + 2 children or 3 adults), is accessed via a private staircase next to the house and has 2 bedrooms (one of them with 2 single beds), a spacious bathroom and a large living room/bedroom, an infrared sauna, a small, well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful balcony. The holiday apartment on the ground floor offers a beautiful living room with a sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 spacious bedrooms, a bathroom, washing machine and a covered terrace. There is a swimming pool in the garden (open May-September). You can park directly under the carport.

Wernberg is located in the Ossiacher Tauern in the Villach-Land region, in the border triangle of Austria, Italy and Slovenia, between Lake Ossiacher, Lake Faak and Lake Wörthersee. In Föderlach there is the Wernberg lake adventure pool with 8,000 m2 of water and a large lawn. There are numerous hiking, cycling and running routes in the Wernberg area. The Drau cycle path, which also leads through Wernberg, is particularly popular.

The Gerlitzen Alpe ski area offers 20 lifts and 52 kilometers of slopes with a total of 32 ski runs on the 1,911 meter high panoramic mountain.

Directly in Wernberg or Villach there are plenty of shopping opportunities for your daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.










Expenses related to charging an electric or hybrid car (when possible) are always charged according to use and separately
The holiday home is situated on the same property as the house of the homeowner
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Voucher and driving directions

1. When you have booked a holiday through us, you will receive a booking confirmation shortly after.

2. You will receive the final confirmation during the following day.

3. When we have registered your last payment, you will receive travel documents concerning your holiday home.

Collection of keys

Details as to collection of keys will be informed per e-mail at the latest 3 weeks before arrival day.

Arrival day

In general the holiday home will be ready for you from 4pm on the arrival day.

Arrival outside opening hours

If you arrive late in the evening, the reception/key collection place will be closed. Please check in good time how to behave in such cases.

Extra services

All the apartments have kitchen equipment for the number of persons for which the apartment is meant. In some cases linen and towels can be ordered - for further info pls see the description of the holiday home on DanCenter.dk under "extra services". Here it will also appear if it is possible to book other equipment such as a cot, a high chair for babies etc.

Tourist fee: A few of the holiday resorts have a tourist fee to pay at arrival.

What is a cleaning audit charge?

We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.

While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
